  1. I was addressing tonfulles forgeries. I do not see any forgeries currently lisyted by KellySH. Should I say they are to win favor. Is that how it works here? Not say what you mean. Say what you say to please?
  2. I've never even as much as looked in the marketplace here. Possibly CGC moderation would be able to verify that. I'm a loyal customer. Do me right, I stay put. Heritage, Connect, Link, for the meat Ebay for the small potatoes.
  3. What do you think about Nicki Minaj? Have you spent any time with her to form an opinion? Like, Nicki can be sweet and caring, and she's a heck of a hostess, but don't like her taste in wallpaper and oh brother, don't get her mad!!!? You want my personal opinion about someone that I don't know personally?
  4. I don't know him as a person. .So I ask again. What would you like me to say? Should I improvise. This makes no sense at all. You want my personal opinion about someone I don't know? And this isn't the least bit bizarre?
  5. We were discussing his ebay signatures. "Look at how bad these are" someone said. I said nothing. Then, later I mentioned that it's disappointing that I can't even say that these are all good, which they are, IMO, I collect HOF sports signatures. Never made a secret of calling myslef an autograph hound, did I. So I should jump on the bandwagon and say, Look at these forgeries this fiend is selling. I hope he dies 1000 deaths", when IMO they are not forgeries? C'mon.
  6. My answer. Addressing the autographs, since that is what we were discussing when you asked. His level of expertise at forgeries: "I think if he was an autograph expert, he wouldn't have been arrested for forgeries. How bad at it did he have to be? How obvious to get arrested when guys like Tonfulle have been selling tens of thousands of dollars of horrific forgeries continuously, right out in the open on ebay, year after year?" Matt and I were discussing forgeries and you interjected, "What do I think of him" immediately after a series of posts about authentic and inauthentic autographs. I thought we were still discussing that.

  8. The ego of being right? And that Marvel Comics 1? Still can't believe it. But I couldn't know about that unless I'm KellySH, even though you mentioned it on the forum before I knew about it.
  9. And what did I answer? Long thread. Lots of posts. Losing battle, just like KellySH said it would be. Please post my answer, you must know where it is if you questioned me about it.
  10. That is so odd. I just reviewed all of our PMs since Halloween. I can't find a single one where you asked me what I thought of Cupcak, Cupack, or whatever spelling you want to use to refer to the seller KellySH. Not a one. Can I copy and paste all of our messages in the name of transparency, in chronological order? Or is that against board guidelines, I'm not sure on that issue? Or you can post my response to your question of my opinion of this seller if it indeed exists as you say it does. Be nice to have a chance to review because it's not in my PMs and I don't erase any.
  11. Buying from or selling through Heritage, Link, Connect is crazy? I've had nothing but great experiences. And between those three alone, the selection and service is unequaled, IMHO.
  12. Never. I can't imagine that I'd be the only one who hasn't. Heritage, Link, Connect, Ebay, and a few others. Those main 4 have everything I need. And if I ever wanted to buy here, just for establishing a cover, A post office box to receive it + a money order to pay for it. Easy work around, right?
  13. I haven't been to a comic convention in 10 years. And certainly not to any hobby stores in the past 2. With Heritage, Link, Connect, ebay, etc., who needs to?
  14. All excellent points. And for the record, I addressed the question as to why I never attempted a take down of KellySH listings. I go by images. That's my starting point. For instance, someone will show an Iron Man 55 just purchased raw on ebay from a seller, any seller, listed as a NM or NM+. I'll take a look. Usually in the spare a grade section. I'll scan the net to see more, online imagery of the book, which may be better than the image the memeber shares here, or even more pics than the member posted. Aside from my initial impression of whether the book is restored or not, what I'm looking for in the raw image are indicators that tell me that in all likelyhood, the books was once slabbed. But if the image I'm studying either does not look like a restored book (if supposed to be unrestored) or show and indication of having been once slabbed, then it's a dead end. This can occur for one or both of two reasons 1) the book was never slabbed, or 2) the image simply isn't sufficiently defined for me to pick up the indicators I need to go looking for identifying matches. These two items above, both due to weak angles and unclear images are why I can't go further than step 1.
  15. Just to recap for the new readers: Preface: Joe Peck's claims of impossible same day USPS delivery, wrong images, and 9.8s looking like 9.8s, led me to believe he was a KellySH shill. 1) addressing the issue of claimed same day delivery, I asked Joe Peck if he picked it up locally or it was delivered, to which he answered, "Yes. apparently, we live in the same area, so yes" 2) that changed later to his receiving it via USPS priority mail and then he showed an image of a book he bought from a SILVERAGE12C iisting, not the book from KellySH listing. He then challenged me to prove that the book he bought from SILVERAGE12C was not the book from KellySH. I took the challenge by posting the images of the three books. The one from his scanner, the one from SILVERAGE12C's listings and the one from KELLYSH's listing that he clained was the one he received the next day via local pickup. 3) At that point I ebay messaged KellySH to call his attention to the thread and to ask about all the discrepancies in Peck's story. 4) KellySH stated that the book wasn't yet sent, was scheduled to ship 2 days later, and told me it didn't matter, it's a lost cause. 5) I asked for anything that would show the book wasn't mailed or that the book was still with him 6) He sent ebay message attachments, images of his items awaiting shipment screen confirming that he didn't send the book. 7) I related that information and images here.and now due to that am accused of being a scumbag and a shill. Is this about right?
  16. Oh my God, are you still on this? Tell you what, let's make our plans now for ThanksShilling. As long as I'm not the turkey, what do we have planned here that can top Halloween?
  17. Well now that you've admitted that, I regret to inform you that "squishy" makes the best balloon animals of all, when you get right down to the technical aspect of twisting squishy people into balloon animals. A squishy composition is the material of choice for "people into balloon animal" practitioners. We look specifically for squishy.
  18. Say no more! That, right there, could be the problem. No gas in the tank.
  19. +1 Unless mitigated, if the rounding can be remedied.
  20. Also, not to linger on one issue, but I don't recall reading what the upshot of your Marvel Comics ! purchase was. Was the book OK? Any non-disclosed restoration? Did you buy it as restored? Unrestored? Did you do OK with it? Make any money? You never said if it was a good or raw deal, just asking. Do you mind sharing that info?
  21. As stated in this thread. I go by images. I see a raw book and I know if it's been slabbed at one time. There are identifiers in 95% of all cases. Then I look for the prior CGC graded matches. But before I can do that, the images that are the ones I go looking for, prior CGC graded, have got to be defined enough for me to have something tangible to do my looking for matches. I don't get that from KellySH images. I've gone looking before and the lack of clear identiers in his images, other than centering and size make it very difficult, if not impossible to find the CGC matches. Plus, in looking at his images, none I've seen bear the telltale identifiers of having been slabbed. I don't know if this is due to them never having been slabbed, or because of photo manipulation. But the identifiers of pre-CGC slabbing in his raw images are just not there, sorry to say, I know that's not what anyone wants to hear.
  22. Deflection. You never said it was 30 years ago, and before you bought, why didn't you do your diligence so you would not be in support of this criminal? How much did you spend on the Marvel 1 you bought from him? Even 30 years ago it was already a multi-tens of thousands of dollars. Do you always spend like that without knowing who's criminal enterprise you're constributing to furthering? When I was showing the Polished Gem crackouts, you were the one defending him to such an extent that your fellow board member had a hard time understanding your sudden 180 degree turn and stand on scammers. Why the selectivity?
  23. At the very least, I never bought a $100,000+ book from him. Looking at his listings, I don't see anything even close to that. That would place you among his best customers of all time, doesn't it?
  24. It's a 40 year old book. and Ebay. Approx.18 Dazzler 1s were the results on my $50 and up Dazzler #1 search. He had 6 of the 18. I shouldn't look at them because he's not in the favor of the forum? I don't have a block on the seller. His listings will show up on my comic issue searches.
