I don't care if it's Jack Kirby resurrected from the grave drawing on character covers he created!!!..... When you add to a book post-production its not a freaking Universal grade!

So i purchased a Playboy 1 for $800 that was supposedly complete just in rough condition. After CGC graded it i find out its missing a page but also find out its a "Page 3" variant...Just curious what others believe the value could be. The seller said they'd refund with a return but im just stuck in deciding what to do. On one hand im disappointed with an incomplete 0.5 but on the other hand its still a great looking piece and maybe the 800 value i paid is spot on!!?? Whats your opinion?

When comparing it to a Famous Firsts reprint you can see the inking differences, mostly in the overrunning of pinks shown on the originals...Here i have a pic of the same page that was verified by CGC.

I have a couple trimmed pages from Batman #1. How can i verify that they are legit? Ive read here that the inking is def different on the reprints...How many reprints were there? What id like to do is at least compare them to every reprint.

I appreciate the guesstimate!

Curious what could have caused the mis-coloring and whats your estimated grade. Pages attached at staples, no cutouts, mvs intact.

For those that wondered...The PGX grade was a 2.0 Thanks so much for the grades and conversation! It was much appreciated!

What you guys think about the pencil signature....What if I took the book out and gently tried to erase it? Think it would help with the books grade or at least the appeal?

I just got this graded. Why would they use an old label? Are they maybe still using this font on oversized and magazines?

Most of my books have a really dark grade number while some have a light colored "faded" number grade. Is there a difference?

Ok, so I'm def a noob to CGC so I have a question. I created an online submission for a bunch of books including Xmen 141 and 142. I would now like to change this to 100 and 101. Can I change my mind before I send them off? Do I need to update anything like the form that's being sent with the books?

This was my first Con. I'm from La. and don't travel much so it was a must because of Stan being there. I brought my X-men 1 to get a pic of it with Stan. After, I happened to be passing by CGC and figured it was high time I got my X-men 1 slabbed, so I went ahead and signed up for a membership. I plan on sending a bunch more books in soon. I seen way more quality comics than expected. Someone in line had an AF 15 that she let me hold for 5 seconds and take a pic. It was an absolute highlight for me. That and meeting artists that I've worshiped since I was a kid. Got my Superman 233 signed by Neal Adams!! It was crowded and loud, but I thought it just made it that much more fun!
