  1. Donate them to your local library at cover and deduct the total from your taxes. Or drop them off at the VA or a children's hospital and do the same. Sure 300 * $0.25 is only $75 but you paid for the shipping with the price. Write it off as a loss either way but turn it into something good.
  2. Earthman. I still regret trading my 8.5 to Harley (that's probably it pressed up ) and I have the pocket book the story was based on too.
  3. Great books but I really like this one! (thumbs u
  4. I like this cover more than the 2-2 for some reason. Speaking of... glad you got it, and glad I sold off my centaurs or you would be giving me I still was very tempted to bid when I saw it a few weeks ago, but alas, aman 26 has doomed all centaurs for me I'm SO glad you didn't bid on this book or it would have cost me well over $1000. I think I still would have won it but it would have been a terrible financial setback. My max bid was something like $2500 or in that ridiculous range. I wasn't going to be denied. (Wish I had bid the same on that sweet Hit 11 I saw last week...) So why has Amazing Man 26 caused you so much grief? hey I documented my aman 26 derailment a few months ago in its own little thread, to sad to relive ... I would have snipped at much much higher than 2500, so it would have cost someone a bundle Note to self: Do NOT collect anything Gator wants...

  7. How is it that everyone seems to be getting Frazetta's sig these days? Does he have an agent that handles it?
  8. How do you follow that up??? And to think I was going to post what I got in the mail today... Great comics everyone. Richard: great Nickel and Hornets! Collin: Nice Okajima too. Too many to quote!
  9. PM Palamas. Yeah, that trick didn't work. I think he wants to keep it. I don't even know what grade it's in anyway. Or what he collects. So I can't even make an offer.
  10. If anyone in this thread stumbles across a NA 27 they want to see in the right home let me know. (thumbs u We may now return to drooling over these gorgeous covers...
  11. I would take the Bat 1 because I need it for the Gerber covers. And it's better than a second cover appearance or whatever anyway.
  12. You saved me from myself too. I seriously considered buying it back.
  13. Nice! You should post them in the Double your Pleasure thread. (thumbs u And congrats on not getting ripped off by Uthe. Unless he graded it vf... We paid $50 for it. No idea what it was graded. It has brittle pages and the cover is off. I'll be selling it soon. Brittle pages and detached cover? You sure that's not a Mile High comics "NM" sticker on the front cover? When I was buying comics in the 80's me and my trading buddies referred to VG-ish books as "Mile High Near Mint". Not sure which of us picked up the term first but it came from someone's mail order experience.
