Just checked all my comic boxes and found 22 copies of X-Force #1. Only 3 have Deadpool cards. 

I'll probably list one on ebay and keep the other 2.

Does anybody have any insight into why this is happening? 🤔 Not just with comic cards, but the whole doggone collectables market?

Yea, and apparently Hulk Hogan's first appearance in comics is a thing too. 

Hmm ... I wonder what my 1991 Desert Storm George Bush "rookie card" goes for ... 😆 

I cannot even begin to understand what is happening to the collectables market right now. I've read different theories, but I still don't get it. Where is all this money coming from (and where can I get some?)

Azbats is also cool, and the Batman figure is a new sculpt, I believe. The Joker, Robin and Harley are all repaints as far as I can tell, but they’re getting pricey as well, so I’d recommend grabbing them if you find them a decent price.  I went back and grabbed Bats today.
 

 

Batman looks great 👍 I like the orange/yellow packaging. 

Of course the 2 figures that I wanted most, Deathstroke and Red Hood are the priciest.

The evolution of this statue can be traced back to a cheese grater (i.e. a shredder) which inspired Eastman to create the character when he put the grater on his hand. You can also see the alternate heads next to an actual shredder which was signed and sketched by Eastman. Little known fact, Shredder was originally called "Grate Man" (from that cheese grater inspiration...) Glad they changed the name!

From that humble beginning, we get to this splash from issue #10. Which finally was used as reference in making this statue.

These "The Adventures Continues" figures completely slipped past me when they were released. I saw them when they were solicited, and thought "Eh, I'll pick those up later." Well, later came, and then went, and this stuff sold out in a hurry. Apparently they only hit certain specialty retailers and some shops? At any rate, I saw what these were selling for on eBay, and hit the roof, assuming I'd never find them at retail. Last night, on a whim, I did a google search, and got a hit for a shop here in town that I'd never been to. I sent them a FB message, and not only did they have them (minus Deathstroke), but they were still retail price, no ridiculous markup!

So, I made the trip today, and picked these up. I'll probably go back later this week to get Joker, Bats and Harley, as they have several of each. Now I just have to track down a Deathstroke at a not-crazy price, and I'll be all set.

(I still really hope that Selina Catwoman is released, though!)
