How is it not a “true” yellow label? Is the signature witnessed? Yes or no? Explain, Sir.
I don't like comics with significant defects or restored comics, as many others don't. We all know the yellow label is still on these and there is a witnessed signature and that signature is good. When people say "true yellow" they are referring to the 95% of the green/yellow labels that have "name written on cover" and that makes it look ridiculous. Collect what you want, there are a lot of "cheap" qualified/ss labels out there for you to buy if you don't have a problem with it.

What’s a true yellow label? Yellow label is yellow label. Qualified Yellow just means something is on the book that was not there when the book was produced or, something was removed. Qualified Signature is a yellow label because the signature was witnessed. There is no “true” vs. “false” yellow label. Our community needs to move away from that idea.
Our community doesn’t have to do anything. I agree that this would not be a “true” yellow label and would not want it in my collection, but I would like a Spawn 1 yellow label.

is there a good list of price variants like these? or at least a good updated one?
My favorite for the 30centers is https://recalledcomics.com/Marvel30CentVariants.php

They can be submitted, but they will not get yellow ss label. You will get a green qualified and maybe get “Stan Lee written on cover”, but you may also get “name written on cover”.

Not worth it. You will get a lower grade, the signature will be poorly placed and illegible, label will be miss-marked so you’ll send it back for a reholder, during all this time the market will fall off a cliff for comic books and your book will be worth half what it was before you sent it in. Or none of this.

This is a sales thread. Are you selling this? If so list the appropriate information.

That's surprising... mine was both pressed and remarqued. Moon Knight #1... kinda wish I had gotten is back two weeks ago because Sal Velluto was here in town and I'd have loved to get him to sign it along with Chuck.
I think remarques were done first. My Remarque is on its way back to me now, but my signature only hasn’t moved.

Placement, placement, placement. Signature placement makes all the difference in the world. My 100% biggest gripe is when I window a book and it is removed from the bag for a signing. I get it the creator/writer likes a certain place but I've researched examplars and know what their signature looks like and where I want it.

Hey all,
I'm just interested in what more knowledgable signature people think about investing long term in a Spider-Man 1 from 1990 signed by both legends. For simplicity's sake, let's just say it's a 9.6 or 9.8 of the regular cover non-newsstand. I see these going for well over a thousand and closer to two thousand. Any thoughts on the ceiling ? I know Stan signed a ton of stuff and McFarlane has a lot out there now too. But a book with both of them is now not possible and only a set amount of them exist now.
Thanks everyone!
I don’t know anything about investing in comics, but it’s still possible to make more of these as Todd still signs (should have an upcoming signing in December). Yellow labels can be cracked and signed by CGC or a facilitator.

Fantastic. Now are you buying them sending them off or are just picking them as you find them?
Most of these I had done myself in person or through a facilitator (still hope to get a JRSR I have in through a private signing). I have purchased some, a few more than I would like due to Covid.

Good call on the Wolfman’s. I’m hoping that he would write “editor-in-chief” below his sig so it gets noted by CGC on the header. I have almost all of the westerns, but missing 1 or 2 which is what I have for him. It’s been a bit of a ride since I do collect other SS comics and I don’t want to spend my whole cash allotment on 30c’ers.

I typically add ccs pressing to my in-house signings (probably done ~50) and have been generally happy with the result. I've had 1 higher value book done, Hulk 180, and they definitely helped the book as there was a corner crease and some waviness that they removed.

I'm sure this group will be rather upset with me but thought I would share my 30c SS collection here. My goal (I'm confident its not achievable) is to have all 30c signed by at least 1 member of the creative team or creative team adjacent (character creator, eic...). Some are double signed, some are remarked... Grade doesn't really matter to me and if I found a particularly high grade I probably wouldn't want to risk the grade. This isn't all of the collection, nor do I have all my 30c autographed (who would I even have sign the TGK's or RHK's?). I do have a registry started https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/registry/comics/PeopleSetDetail.aspx?PeopleSetID=147162
Allow the flaming to commence!

My Jock remarque just went to SFG. I wonder if they took them to SDCC to be signed/remarqued?
