  1. Definitely getting it. Probably going to cash my points for it because it's gonna be expensive. Looking forward to seeing it in SD, and Huntress. Lucky dog. This is the year to be at SDCC. Their best showing by far in recent memory, and we haven't even seen it all yet.

  3. Bestå from Ikea, with Glassvik doors. The staple of many statue collectors. Yeah, but you arranged the pieces very neatly. So many collector cram 2-3 1/4 scale pieces in each Besta cube, and it just ends up looking too cluttered.
  4. Yeah, it's insane. I was all zeroed in on the DC stuff (Bane, Croc, Huntress), and today they blindside us with a new Predator Maquette and that amazing Wolf LSB. Might have to prioritize those and get the DC stuff later. I still majorly regret passing on the Wolf LSF. I had it in my cart but couldn't pull the trigger. And I think there will be more surprises. Bet they're gonna show that new Venom at the show.
  5. I'd hold onto Power Girl if I were you.
  6. That Ivy is cool. Great composition.
  7. It is interesting that they went with "maquette" and not just "comiquette" or "polystone diorama". But will it be bgiger than the conan dio? For me if I were to get this, it'll need it's own area being 1/5 scale. I doubt it. I'm looking at it now, and even if Wolverine is the same size as Conan, the Hulk won't be as big as the beast. It may end up with similar height and weight dimensions, but with a lot of air(space between wolvie and hulk), whereas the the Conan dio is compact and the beast is just enormous. If that beast was 1/4 scale, he'd be 30+ inches on his own.

  9. Here's a bunch of new stuff Sideshow has previewed in the last few days: Tons more coming as we get closer to SDCC.
  10. Seller doesn't care about the box the same way most collectors do. Not everyone is on the same page and collects the same way. It's not about collecting or collectibles though, it's about common sense. Anything that gets bought online should be put in a box.
  11. Had the nude variant years ago. That's a fantastic piece, and still the best Frazetta statue IMO. ARH's looks great, but the girl is not quite right. CS Moore nailed it.
  12. This is how it starts. These things are like crack.
  13. I saw it. I liked it. I also understand some of the criticisms. They tried putting too much into this film, and it got really messy at points. The end was also a mistake, IMO. And the foreshadowing was too subtle for the general movie-going audience.
  14. Wow, that box is huge! Is Margot Robbie actually in it? Funny thing is, that Harley Quinn Premium Format might be the smallest box I've ever received from Sideshow.
  15. How do you think the new PF compares to the comiquette?
  16. Yeah, Sideshow's own rep confirmed that they don't sequence processed orders in any particular way; it's mostly random. And as you said, flex vs full pay doesn't really mean anything either. They seem to do something different for every statue. In most cases, people get their pieces at roughly the same time, regardless of payment method or when the order was placed.
  17. The two dios together. Fury of the Beast is so large, it's hard to take a picture of both of them.
  18. Finally tracked down a "Conan: The Prize" EX to go with my "Fury of the Beast" EX. I'm beyond thrilled. This is easily one of the best pieces I've ever seen in person. The details are astounding and the paint job is flawless. This is Sideshow at their absolute best.
  19. Congrats on Spidey, he looks great. I have the original Comiquette and the Back in Black comiquette, and I haven't been able to decide whether I should go with the red and blue or symbiote version of that piece. I'm leaning towards the symbiote just because I have a soft spot for that costume.
  20. Agreed, the portraits are stunning. Probably my favorite part of the statue. Here are closeups of the other two:
  21. There's no way to tell. Sometimes they're showing stuff that's already for sale, and sometimes it can be more than a year before they go up for order. It really depends.
  22. Your first instinct was right, it's Nightwing. This is the Arkham Knight redesign. The rumor is it'll have a switchout with the classic mask.
  23. Prime 1 stuff from the show in Tokyo last weekend:
