In my experiences for the latter half of last year mostly and this year, once received, submissions were entered very quickly. About two months ago this began to slow down on my subs and sometimes it has taken up to two weeks before the subs were entered into my account.
However, the last two weeks I have three submissions that were delivered and entered within a few days. Definitely email them with the order number from your invoices and someone will get back to you quickly since it has been a month from your confirmed delivery to their facility.

Sex sells. A while back I pulled out three longs of 90s GGA covers from Image and others for a show. I had a ton of people buying them. It was crazy to see how fast they went.
Agreed. I have bought many of these type of variant covers in the last three years, graded them, and then made huge profit. Rinse and repeat....

Coming from someone who has spent literally thousands of dollars with CGC in the past year alone, this is not surprising. Sorry to say. However, I have been utilizing the services of @Tony S for C&P and then to CGC for grading and for the most part all is good!

Ok. I really have put this off too long.
@CHASEnBLUE is amazing. Those that have talked with me know that I had some issues with my health last year and have been taking care of my mother the last 4 and she passed the beginning of this year. Since I have been trying to deal with everything. (Finally starting to get caught up health wise, mentally [as much as that can be] and with comics again.)
During that time when things were all piling on @CHASEnBLUE had reached out several times and checked on me as well as sent an amazing care package. (Will be posting those shortly) inside was this note
There are not words for how kind, thoughtful, and completely selfless this was and how much it truly meant, as well as the timing when this came.
I can not express my thanks enough.
Thank you @CHASEnBLUE !
The care package!
and more from him later!
Thank you my friend! You didn't have to do that but I really appreciate what you have to say. I'm glad that I had a part in trying to help you through your tough times.
God bless! 😁

Thank you Aaron!
P.S. as others have mentioned he definitely did an amazing job of packing as well!
Thank you my friend, I didn't expect that at all - though I do greatly appreciate what you wrote.

And the poly bag creases would be a bonus!

Thanks to @Tony S again for getting these mags to hit the highest grade possible considering their previous condition.

I appreciate the advice, but my question wasn't about a particular book, just all books in general that have a condition as I mentioned. I'm just trying to get a feel how other folks tackle this. I have some where otherwise they are a pretty decent book, but the cover just isn't smooth and looks abused and was wondering how others grade that sort of condition.

Wow. Well, I have had only a couple similar messages over the years. To this one I would have no problem saying, "And you have the nerve to actually send me this kind of asinine message? Buh-bye!"
Then immediately block their a z z.

Grades are in (finally), just waiting for the books to arrive and I will post photos soon. So, for this thread, number 2 and 4 below apply. Good work on the estimates everyone!

I bought a 9.8 Spidey that he donated to a fundraiser. I realized after taking it that they had all been claimed already. He still honored the take it and gave me a copy as well.
Packaging? Wow, he knows how to pack a book! They would have had to run over it with the mail truck to damage it. Needless to say it arrived quickly and is perfect. Thank you!
😂 After having a few slab packages get ran over by something a few years back 🚒 🚛 🚜 ✈️, cracking the slabs severely, I came up with this method and so far so good! Thank you very much!

I had a very pleasant and easy going transaction with Jay. No doubt I would definitely work with him again. Don't hesitate to buy from or sell to Jay with confidence!

I used to stick with 10 facing one way, then the next ten facing the other. I've changed that to 5. What I found over time (60 plus boxes later) is that as I re-bag and board every 7 to 10 years (yeah...OCD to some degree), is a spine roll effect to some degree if they are packed too tight and the comics shift towards the right or left side without me evening them out/keeping them "square". If that makes sense...

Below are some of the highlights of a 115-book Bronze Age collection I picked up at an estate sale this morning. The amazing thing about it is that 92 of these books have Mark Jewelers inserts. Whoever's collection this is was clearly focused on buying MJIs.
The books aren't pristine or anything but I was over the moon because I just am never at the right place at the right time to score books like this. The tremendous lottery win I thought I had evaporated when I checked the MVS on the IH #182. As it turns out, quite a few are missing so that part is discouraging. Don't know if the collector cut them out, or he bought MJIs indiscriminately. In any event, I doubt they're worth less than I paid
Huge find! Congrats!
