Looks real to me, in addition to what woowoo mentioned, the blue color in Supes hair is lighter on original vs. FFE reprint. What's the scribble above Superman's head? Does the date say 11/12/53?

Not sure if it's ever been proven which is the first print. All we know for sure is there are way less copies of the "no dot" version.

Well I'm not, but it's cool to see records broken, it was this same book that broke the million dollar threshold back in 2010. -

Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???

I thought so too, I am trying to upgrade my copy, feel like this is the next big "must have" Joker book taking off the way Tec #69 did a few years ago. -
Nice centering on that #44, that one is almost always misaligned.

That book was so fresh, only a 1-2 inch spine split on bottom edge keeping it from grading higher. -

I remember when you were picking them up, such a fun thing to watch. -
Put me down for the Superman #5, more iconic image on cover.

How many Key books are there in the Allentown Collection?
thedude replied to action1kid's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I was just going by what James said himself when he was on Vinnie's "Comic Zone" podcast, when Vinnie asked him what he thought the Tec 27 would grade at. Maybe I remember it wrong, I'll have to go back and listen to it again. Just remember him saying " there was nothing wrong with it" -

thedude replied to action1kid's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I know there is a Detective 27 supposed to be around a 9.6 according to Jim Payette who found them, plus Cap #1 and Tec #38. -
I would definitely sell as individual pages. I know I'd be bidding on a few

Looks like a very nice copy!
