  1. Some of my books have been shipped that I submitted mid March modern slow track. So a 4 month wait. Pretty ridiculous but whatever. Grades looked fair except for 3 of the books, which is most upsetting.
  2. Anyone have books delivered in late March modern slow track that have been shipped out yet? Pretty sure the time stamp was 55 days then. I was not in a big hurry but this seems excessive. I am guessing like a lot of companies they cant find people that actually want to work.
  3. Really?....mine were delivered, then SFG a month later. That's why I figured their clock started when received.
  4. They are not SFG until received. Delivered just means your package was dropped off. Anyway not sure what your point is. I was just posting my slow track wait. I would have to look back but pretty sure the clock was 55 days when mine were SFG.
  5. Well mine have been SFG since 4/29... all modern slow track.
  6. Delivered 3/31 Received 4/29 SFG 4/29 So they are a MONTH out just getting things checked in.
  7. Just curious how you all box up large submissions. I usually do lots of 10 but was thinking I should send in 25 or more at one time. Do you use multiple boxes or 1 large priority box? Or is the CGC box you pay for the best way?
  8. Are orders received any faster on fast track?
  9. Iron fist #14 8.0. I cracked and pressed it. Came back a 9.4. I have a x-men 266 9.6 I would like to do the same and try for a 9.8. But I feel like it's too risky.
  10. Same here. Delivered 3/31 still not received.
  11. It's a business and they are there to make money. I have raised my rates for my personal business greatly as well in the past year. But what should come with that is a 30 day turn around time. Raising rates to only make people wait longer is terrible business. That would be like Netflix charging an extra $10/month and removing 1/3 of their content.
  12. I am in no real hurry but these wait times are a bit out of hand. 20 days and still not even received yet. As soon as they pop up I am going to call and upgrade to fast track.
  13. A lot of it is subjective. I have an iron fist #14 9.4 that I thought was a 9.0 on it's best day. But on the flip side I have a couple 9 4's that I thought were easy an 9.6. Gotta take the good with the bad.
  14. Cool, never seen that before. It that your copy? Edit: nevermind, I see it.
  15. Secret wars 1 newsstand just sold for 3,000 in a 9.8. Keep an eye on your secret wars collection, that could be the next big mcu movie. Secret wars II #3 could be a big key in the future as it's the first appearance of the beyonder. Hard to get a 9.8 on those black covers though.
  16. It can be hard to buy raw books on ebay, even with really good pics. But I got spiderman for $20 and paid $100 for the DC book a couple years ago. The spiderman cover had a decent amount of finger nail marks on it. Some books just press out well and this is one of them. It looked like a different book when I was done.
  17. Nothing crazy like you guys but snagged gambit #1 9.8 for $20 in an auction. No one else bid on it. They are starting to spike in price now.
  18. Interesting, maybe they are doing it to make buyers more comfortable. Increase sales for their bigger stores.
  19. That seller has over 8,000 reviews with 100% feedback.
  20. The pics are not that great IMO. The ripple at the top could be a sign of not being pressed as well. I pull a ton of books out of my boxes that have this and have never been pressed.
  21. $3.95 shipping....lol. please tell me he did not ship that media mail. There is someone selling in a RAW copy of ASM 226 for $335 and he lists it as a 9.9..people are delusional. A lot of shady shot goes down on ebay I believe. People with multiple accounts buying their own stuff I think happens as well.
  22. Same here, left my stuff alone for about 25 years, never looked at any of it till 2018. So far I am estimating in the 30k range after everything of worth is graded. Nothing too crazy but I will take it.
  23. I only have about 3,000 books. But I started going through my collection a couple years ago to see what is of value. Before that I had not looked them for 25 years. I have about 100-150 books to send off to cgc. At some point I will start selling them off on ebay when I retire. I told my wife if something happens to me dont hesitate to sell them and get the money. She knows enough to sell the graded stuff. Neither of my kids have any interest in them. Well, maybe if they knew the value they would...lol.
  24. I think the whole newsstand varient is weird but people are willing to pay a premium so who am I to argue. I will gladly sell them for more. A secret wars 1 newsstand just sold for $3,000.
  25. Bought this for $20 in 1992. Got this for cheap too in the 90s. Love the cover. $100 on ebay 2 years ago raw. I also have a TMNT 1 2nd print at cgc that I paid cover for. Should be in the 9.0 range. These are all the ones I for sure wont sell for quite some time.
