  1. I haven't read any of the Masterworks, so you'll have to count me out.
  2. Then we're not at Charlton!? I have to say, although the picture quality is bad, I didn't think the comic cover they were showing near the end was anything to do with Charlton, looked far too good!! Heavily pixelated also, so may have been porn.
  3. This according to the comments this is the Charlton printing presses...
  4. I think I'm with you on it indicating a 1st and second print, but maybe also one or the other is for export and then rubber stamped by T&P. I'm grasping at straws really.
  5. Righty-o, I've been trawling through the read on line site for the JIM's & ST's examples that you've given, JIM 65 is the only one I can add to, providing you haven't already found it... So no T&P
  6. Right, that's lovely, thanks. I'll have to check 'em later, decorating etc. still to do. Signatures, don't start talking technology to me, I've only just learnt you can clean the screens on these things!

    Crimson Comet 40

    A variant on monkey tennis. @Get Marwood & I
  9. From your pictures, it is more evident on the back cover that there is a problem with the staple. As to it being a 6.5, I'd say it's the staple that's kept it there, otherwise it would have been higher, the other flaws being minimal. It's a nice looking book.
  10. 8.5 is tops for me, minor scuffing along the spine area on back cover.
  11. Suddenly Tom had a feeling he had gone too far on Grab-A-Granny night...
  12. And I always had a liking for this one too...
  13. I no longer have my own copy of this, but this is the business....
  14. Ha ha, yes DC were always giving their characters weight problems. Superboy I'm sure had another overweight cover, as did Superman, so he was always fighting the flab. Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and here's WW, I'm sure there must have been others, too.
  15. Just to get the ball rolling on your return 85 please.
  16. Not to mention your vast collection of Health & Efficiency! On a serious note, it would be interesting to see what would happen if it were ever proven that the pence variants were the first true print?
