Depends upon what the rest of the book looks like. If you post it in the https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/ with front and back cover scans/photos, and describe the writing, i.e. whether it's biro or fountain pen, if it bleeds through., we'll be able to help.

A safe 7.0 call, I think. Minor scuffing and spine ticks, the soft corner at brfc and the stress crease at the bottom edge are the flaws that hold it there. BP, back page

Apparently Lang was incredibly cruel to Lorre, deliberately having several takes of him being thrown down stairs in the trial scene, to elicit the anger and frustration of the character. I think it was common practice then of the old school, silent directors to get a performance, much in the same way that Hitchcock did with Tippi Hedren in The Birds.

Some would say Ernestine had gone too far with her diet...

Lorre performance in Fritz Lang's M where he plays the child murderer is one of my favourites ever on screen. He was a favourite of Hitchcock's too.

I've just checked the story out online and it appears that there is a speech bubble and a text box in that area, so it may well affect the story, so logically it will be labelled as incomplete.

5.0 at best for me with that amount of interior writing. Front cover looks fine but soiling and corner creasing on back cover drop the grade too.

You're not going to accept this, but I've learnt a great deal from you, as well as DR. X and the others who contribute. If you remember, I think I mentioned my prime reason for joining the boards to learn and improve grading. I'm still learning, and hopefully improving, and I do think it's going to be an ongoing thing. We do learn something new everyday here. It's +1 to your comment above.
