    Picked up a 2500 book collection of some great silver and bronze keys. Some are not in the best shape, but a lot of them are very nice.

    Thanks, Neal was one of the best. I got luck with the Savage Eve getting a 9.8 Signed by father and Son and very limited copies, I couldn’t pass it up.

    So what do people use to determine the FMV? Is there a cetin guide or website that I can go to to find the FMV, other than looking at the sales on ebay? I have some high end books I want to send in but I cant determine what I should use for a FMV. I have looked at several sites such as Go Collect and Cover price. For example, Marvel Spotlight #5 on Cover Price the FMV for a 9.4 is $7,583 and on Go Collect it is $12,500. That is a $5,000 difference and @ 4% that can add up fast.

    So I have a similar issue, I have 2 books that got damaged and have to go in to get reholders. Do i take this opportunity to press and clean then grade or just go with the holders?

    I have another one that is a 9.8, not a news stand but I think sending either one in for additional signatures is asking for trouble.

    I sent it in as a 9.4 and it came back as a 9.6 so i am pretty happy with the end result.
