Just got my very first CGC SS graded slabs back after months of waiting and was somewhat disappointed to see 6 out my 10 books (which is a pretty bad percentage for error) with noticeable oily spots, which I later found out are a known issue called Newton Rings. I held out on getting books slabbed until after CGC had worked out the kinks and perfected the "slabbing" process. Unfortunately they have not. Bottom line is they look sloppy. I will be waiting until they fix this issue before I get anymore books slabbed.

Was going through the CGC Online Submission Form and SVCC does in fact show up in the list of shows that they will be accepting drop-offs. Not sure if this means that there will be a witness for signatures though. And I'm not sure when the last time this list was updated. I'll try and submit my books and will update if they accept them or not. Crosses fingers.

Was just going through the Online Submission form on CGC site and Silicon Valley Comic-Con shows up in the list of shows. I recall not seeing SVCC on the list a month ago. Not sure when this list has been last updated but I will try to fill out this form and update this thread on if it accepts my submission or not. My gut feeling is if they will be on-site, there should be a witness for the Stan Lee signing.

I am also getting Stan to sign a few books on Friday and wondering if there will be an official CGC witness or affiliate to verify that our sigs are legit. I am aware of a few east bay CGC dealers that are accepting books to get signed but not sure if they count or would be willing to be a witness. Still new to this process.

Yes, Stan will definitely be attending and signing at the Silicon Valley Comic-Con next week. I was also wondering if CGC will have someone there to verify sigs, as I plan to have a few books signed. So far, only JSA is listed as the official autograph signature presence there. Will they count as CGC facilitators?
