  1. Nice books, one and all! Here's a Bill Everett cover, and I'm done for the night.
  2. I cannot attribute this cover. The Atlas Tales website suggests Carl Hubbel.
  3. Some early Mystery Tales, for you Atlas fans: #2 #3 #4 #5 Does that tombstone show "Matt Wilson?"
  4. Here's a "Wolverton cover" from WTOTF 4, consisting of art lifted from Wolverton's story "Nightmare World" from WTOTF3, and a "pasted girl," who, somehow, looks insufficiently upset. I wonder if the editor was misguidedly trying to add GGA appeal? By the way, "Nifhtmare World" is arguably THE CLASSIC Wolverton horror story. It concerns a scientist who experiments on himself with hallucinogenic drugs and, after drinking an "acrid" liquid, experiences what can be accurately described as the ultimate "bad trip." Talk about Basil being in his element!
  5. No, I believe those 3 covers are all Basil, all the time!
  6. If I must forfeit my non-Atlas books, then the terrorists have won.
  7. You can miss some incredible work when judging a book by its cover:
  8. Howzabout some post-code Atlas? They seem not to be getting much respect these days, and can generally be had for a song, when they become available.
  9. Thanks for the Love Romances 70 pic. I've never seen that one before!
  10. Just got this in the mail today. Did Everett do any other romance covers for Atlas?
