  1. Adam: No, I'm not sure it's Anderson; but I'm pretty confident it's not Heath. Let me try to find some Anderson art to support my attribution. Meanwhile, let me roll out some war books I've bveen promising. This one boasts interior art by Heath, Maneely and Norman Steinberg, as well as a busy and brutal Heath cover! Talk about getting your dime's worth!
  2. One more Spellbound before I move on. This cover, I believe, is by Harry Anderson:
  3. That Journey Into Unknown Worlds 2 is a jaw-dropper! Congratulations on a beautiful book! Did you know that the cover story, by Everett, actually appears in Marvel Tales 98?
  4. One more Heath Spellbound, and I'll look for the Rag Doll.
  5. Jay: Looks to me like "HERMAN / Jos. M. / DIED MAY 4 1904"
  6. I'd say Ross Andru is correct. Note the side-bar on this cover; first appearance Giant Ant Man?
  7. Here's a Heath cover for you, Scrooge. I know it's not a war book, but I'll get to them soon.
  8. Thank you, SS. Yes, there are tons of 1950s books I don't own; I just don't post scans of those.
  9. Nice Strange Tales 15! As I recall, that issue is full of fine art, not to mention an excellent Everett cover with killer color! Was that an eBay acquisition? Here come some seldom seen Spellbounds:
  10. Great colors on that Battle 18, and another flame thrower cover, too! I'm not too deep in the Atlas war books, but I'll see if I can pull some nice ones on my next foray into the collection. Meanwhile, here's another Terror, with a pretty nice Everett cover (I'm uncertain whether the book was miscut at the top edge, or just badly curated "Curated" is an anagram of "turd ace"; significant?
  11. And speaking of "Adventures Into Terror," can you imagine subscribing to this: and having this turn up in the mail? Talk about "New direction!"
  12. He does have some nice books! I might have to try for a Christmas gift or two for myself.
  13. Nice purple! Speaking of which, this one's for Scrooge.
  14. I hope everybody had a fulfilling Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends.
  15. Thanks for your kind words; it's nice to have an appreciative audience. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
