Outstanding! Back to the magic that re-energized Star Wars.

I am not familiar with The Clone Wars and Rebels. So some of those pieces were new to me.

Finally watched it, a great episode.

At the 5 minute mark, this video gives a quick rundown of the Mandalore history and CW/Rebels call backs.  Helped me understand a bit better as I'm making my way through Clone Wars now

  2. I really liked WandaVision, but agree that it would have been better and made more sense to include Dr. Strange as outlined.  It would have also made Wanda more sympathetic, as it also mentions that Hayword basically manipulated her into creating the hex so that he could get a powered up Vision - and she didn't just knowingly hold thousands of people hostage.

Smooth transition from Clone Wars. Loved the first episode except for a certain rebels star voice in the beginning, though it was cool he returned.

I'm making my way through clone wars now (just started really). Should I wait to watch this until I finish Clone Wars series?

This thread needs a new focus.

    I'll go first:

"You don't know about me without you have read a book by the name of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; but that ain't no matter. And then the dragons arrived!"

    Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

"Daddy, I'm tired," the little girl in the red pants and the green blouse said fretfully.  And then the dragons arrived.

I understand. It was not a well-executed scene, knowing in the end now the old man that also kind of saw him as a replacement son has to deal with loss twice-over. He even wanted to see Bucky have happiness in his life.

That only further detracted from Bucky's decision later on make Yori feel even more loss in his life. See what I mean?

Yes, that would be devastating for sure.  I do wish they had expanded more since it was something I was waiting for since the first episode.

Overall, I enjoyed the series.  Tone was a little more...depressing (maybe?) than I usually like, just my preference...but look forward to another season if they make one.  Think it would have been more powerful to have the Flag Smashers end up being more sympathetic in their cause with a less flawed execution that didn't devolve into killing innocents.

    Go back and watch it.

The old man had come to terms with the loss of his son, and kept the shrine area to honor his memory. Now, he has to take into consideration his son was murdered by the guy that had befriended him and brought him comfort for a period of time.

How would you feel if someone you hung out with shared they had killed someone you loved?

I didn't feel that the old man had come to terms with the loss, at least not in the first episode.  And either the bartender or psychiatrist, don't remember which, mentioned something about the pain of not knowing (I think). I guess it depends on how Bucky framed the conversion - did he tell him he was the Winter Soldier, maybe he said why his son was targeted, etc -  but we'll probably never know.

But they probably wouldn't be working for SWORD so quickly and already on a 'mission', I would think Monica was the exception due to her position prior to the snap.  If you are referring to the people in the town, none of them actively went through the hex shield.

That is assuming all the townspeople escaped when she briefly opened a door for them to run through.  Unsure (doubtful?) if all of them would have made it our during that time though

Roughly half of them should have been blipped.  Wanda herself was blipped.

As the show went on they kept making a big deal of her going in and out of the hex and that's perhaps what caused her powers...so I've been unsure the whole time which it would end up being.  She isn't the first person to enter and leave the hex...so are they on the road to getting powers, too?  Woo, Darcy, Heyward and his whole team, and EVERYONE in Westview--are they mutates now, Monica is just further along because she went in twice?

I think Monica being part of the blip also altered her DNA somehow, which caused the hex to mutate her.  I'm not sure if anyone else that entered and left the matrix were part of the blip, since it had just happened  a couple weeks prior.
