Whoa! Chester sold out, man!
Swamp Thing Annual #3 was the last issue in the my TPB collection, very different. Since I wasn’t familiar with Gorilla Grodd or Congorilla I was a bit lost.
I have to warn you that Rick Veitch never finished his intended story. In issue #88 Alec was supposed to meet Jesus and the DC editors told Veitch they wouldn’t publish it. As a result, he quit and the story was inadequately resolved by a new writer, Doug Wheeler. Nancy Collins took over from issues #110-138 but I hated the art and stories in those issues. Other boardies might disagree with me though

I just hope the stories are still good.
I recommend the Mark Millar issues. #140-171. They were collected in TPBs too

Check it out! I finally finished my From Hell set in 9.8 last week. It took me five years to assemble because there aren’t many copies in the census and I had to send in a lot of copies to CGC myself. In fact I had to submit #6 four times before I got a 9.8. In celebration I reread the series. It had been 15 years since I read it last I had forgotten a lot. Also, some of the occult stuff in it made more sense this time because I had just read Promethea recently and Moore explains the Sun and Moon in more detail there. About the only scene in the story that I disliked was when Gull time travels after killing Marie Kelley. Well last night I made the decision to torture myself and watch the From Hell movie for the first time. I had avoided it like the plague but for some reason I felt compelled to check it out. Man it was as bad as the reviews would lead you to believe. Imagine how awful it would have been if they had included time travel, four dimensional architecture, Gull’s preachy tirade about the 20th century, and Gull’s transformation into a ghost lizard-man after death. Hahaahhhaaahaaa! Is it possible for a movie to get zero stars? So I have a question for you all. Did Alan Moore give 20th century Fox permission to make this stinker? Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Mad Love Publishing own the rights in 1998 and didn’t Moore own Mad Love? I did an internet search but it wasn’t helpful. All I could find were quotes from Moore where he dissed Johnny Depp.

Hi @Barth. I called this toll free number and they fixed me right up. It might be quicker than an email?

Thanks @CGC Mike but I phoned and talked to customer service. The woman I talked to was very nice and helpful. It turns out that the comic I was inquiring about was never marked as “shipped” when it was originally shipped out to the previous owner. As a result, it never made it to the census
Gruesome demise covers (or saved in the nick of time).
