  1. Man ! That oldie really brought back some memories....not all of them good lol...I think comics were still only 25 cents back then? Maybe they had already gone up to 30.
  2. I will just have to get a 113 to really find out for myself! I'd like to see the insides and see who did the art. Do you know if any of the original artists were hired back to create this issue?
  3. Oh man! I just checked - we gotta wait till Saturday to see the grades?
  4. I have a friend here on the boards that looks for these, has many of them. He tells me they are kinda hard to come by especially in decent condition, and he lives in Australia. Maybe not rare then just hard to come by Very cool though!
  5. Very nice! Great history lesson there too. Love seeing these, they are truly rare!
  6. From what I can see it looks like one of those. I've see a few over the years. They were B/W reprints done in the 50's and 60's with color covers and square bound I believe. Supposedly 100 pages, hence the name. They were printed and distributed in Australia. I've never held one but only seen pictures here on the board.
  7. Is that a DC reprint 'Hundred' comic from Australia?
  8. Great info on the 113 there, thanks! I don't have any of the final 3-4 issues yet. So I need all the info I can get on them. I'm kinda in the camp currently where I sort of believe 113 is part of the run? We've had this discussion in the past but it just sort of feels like it should belong.
  9. I've mentioned this movie here before I think but its worth mentioning it again. Great interview clips with Neal and Julie and others. I come back to it again and again. Just an all around great show. I love what both Neal and Julie say in here. Not to mention a great telling of how the Flash was created. Here's the trailer for you to enjoy on youtube.
  10. Love Neal Adams! Its hard to believe he's gone. I wish he'd done more Flash covers.
  11. Very tough round indeed! Grades in. I know I graded them right - now lets see if CGC can match up to the correct grades.
  12. That's what I thought it was too, a harmless printing defect. Its difficult when we don't have the books in hand. It also worked against me on the Subbie, what I guessed was a printing issue and harmless was actually 'light staining' (is what I think they called it). Once again if we had the books in hand we would have graded accordingly. So it kind of makes me feel better?
  13. Enjoy! You gotta teach the kids the classics! I love it that he loves the Flash! And when my son went the way of Marvel, I made sure he knew the difference between a Ditko Spider-Man and a Romita Spider-Man.
  14. I need time to heal after that last beating. I wont put my grades in until tomorrow.
  15. I kinda tanked on this round. I think I scored a 7 or an 8 so......Really messed up on the Subbie!
  16. Great link there! Great info on the history of the posters! Very informative, thanks a bunch!
  17. The countdown begins! Roughly 5hours 40min to go for the big reveal?
