Did you bother to read ANY of the previous posts in this thread, detailing this issue? C'mon man.
And did you clearly read my post? I'm not stupid, thank you. I perfectly understand the why and the wherefores. But nobody posted that they were having to provide payment information ahead of purchase and I was asking if it was happening to anyone else.

It looks better than mine so I would go with a 5.0.

2.0 and it would probably fetch a nice price.

3.0 to 3.5. Love this issue.

eBay either needs to require all users to have a form of payment ready to go -- and authorized to go -- or they need to look into why so many of their users get hit with "family emergencies" right when it's time to pay for an auction.
I make a lot of offers on ebay. A couple of times now they have requested payment information before I can make an offer. If it is accepted, I am billed immediately. This doesn't bother me, but is this happening to anyone else? I've been on ebay for over two decades so it isn't because I'm new or ever backed out of a deal.

When my brother in law died, we wound up with 3 electric train engines that my in laws bought him back in 1956. They look great and they run.
I've talked to 2 of the biggest train collectors in our area of the state. They tell me the trains we have are wonderful and worth some money. However, the "market" for them is dwindling rapidly as the baby boomers numbers are shrinking. There really isn't much of a market for them, maybe 25% of their actual value if a buyer could even be found.
People under 40 are more attracted to video games and don't want to fool with things like train tracks and all the other items that previous generations did.
One person's nostalgia is another person's pain in the tookus.

0.5 to 1.0 here. At least you own a copy, which is something I can't ever say.

You should go to ebay and type in the issue(s) in their search function you are thinking of having slabbed. That will save you some time. This one isn't worth slabbing.
-
Looked real quick at ebay and there is a guy selling 10 of these and the bid is at two dollars and change. This is not a book that will bring you a ton of cash even if slabbed.

4.0 to 4.5.

I love this cover! 3.5.
