  1. Crazy book with an even crazier front cover. It’s all about the art on the cover and Hulk 181 just nails it.
  2. I remember waiting and waiting and being left behind, so I had to bite the bullet and go for it and paid current prices with no regret.the feeling of accomplishment far out weighs the extra costs and burdens of scrambling the cash together to make it happen. Let me tell you, it was a struggle and endless hours of saving and work but I’m finally here. Dont sit on the sidelines, get up and do it. Just do it - Nike.
  3. I have multiples of all three, 180,181,182. I believe they should follow through with a slight rise in price, nothing dramatic but any gain is a bonus. 181 has one of the greatest front covers of any book, period! Would like to see where all these are at in 20 years from now. If you’re a Wolverine fan, then you must have all three.
  4. Some red hot action happening here https://www.pedigreecomics.com/auction/comic/061956/incredible-hulk-181-cgc-98-ow-w
  5. I bought my 9.8 from eBay and paid a premium but it was worth it as I could pick it up without having to import it and pay high taxes and take the risk of shipping a high value book. I continue to buy lots of books from eBay at the current prices and I can say my prices paid are genuine. At $5100, this is an excellent book, well done to both seller and buyer.
  6. Noticed that, I was looking at the GPA sales and saw the $20,000 on there but then realised the book.
  7. https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=761389 This 2.0 ended up selling for $17,100, not a bad result. One on eBay sold a week ago for $20,000. The raw book at $10,400 seems to be a bargain, that’s if it ranks in at a 2.0 by CGC.
  8. Just comparing it to the raw one (above) that sold on eBay. It’s a 2.0, nothing to hide. currently two on the market, someone on here better jump onto them. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DAmazing%2Bfantasy%2B15%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1260323&id=1260323&itemType=0 https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=761389
  9. https://outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed.ebay.com/outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253659131977 $10,400 is still a strong price for an ungraded book.
  10. I’ve been watching that one, strong price for a raw copy. I’d rather pay a little more and get a certified one as you don’t know what grade you’re buying.
  11. There a couple out there. What were you looking at paying for a 2.0? I believe they’re going to catch up a little as a few collectors that have come late to the scene are now blown out of the water as prices for any grade is big. Entry point seems to be $10k for a 0.5.
  12. Depends on the price, I’d go with the GPA 90 day average to determine the price. Obviously you’d pay slightly more for an off white-white book.
  13. You’ve more than doubled your investment. I’m sitting on a 5.0 and 8.5, wouldn’t mind upgrading to a 9.0+. There’s still a long way to grow, the X-Men are still too young.
  14. Ah my apologies! I just realised what the SA meant in the title Replace Wolverine with X-Men.
  15. I grew up around the Wolverine era, so back in the 90's he was the biggest thing for a lot of youngsters.
  16. I wouldn’t pay that much unless I site the book in person and follow through with the payment at a bank.
