I have a question, I'm looking at a few AF 15 options and wanted a clear understanding. I know with some books that a blue label is better than yellow, however, how much more is a yellow label Stan Lee signature worth on a copy of AF15 compared to a blue label one?

My apologies, didn’t realise it was frowned upon as I’ve missed out on a few deals due to PM’s and at times I don’t know if it’s a false Dutch auction going on. Thought I’d take it public for the first time. P.S I’m new here and I’m getting used to it.

Slab them to have reassurance that they’re worth what they are. Personally nowadays I hesitate to buy raw books, some are fakes, some get damaged along the way and finally, I don’t want the headache of waiting so I rather pay too dollar and get something that has already been graded. I possibly only represent 50% of the retail buyers out there ?

Moods and desires shift and change, sometimes rapidly and at times because of external forces i.e an announcement of a new movie. I wouldn’t rely only on the new movie aspect and some awareness may spark more interest in X-Men as we all know, it is one of the biggest names to come out of the Marvel empire. Sooner or later people will start to realise and appreciate it more and only then will prices continue to skyrocket. Some of the current comics that have plummeted in price make you think, how and why? Some are names that I’ve never heard of growing up, yet today, they’ve jumped double in value in only 6 months. Xmen, Spiderman, Batman, Superman etc are staple characters, the rest are the extras, that’s how I view things.

It’s more like prices are on the upwards as X-Men has been sitting on the sidelines for too long. The price variation between it and other books like AF15 is astonishing and it’s time that it catches up.

I have finally joined the 9.8 club! Wooohooo, I feel a sigh of relief and accomplishment at last. Whilst sitting on the fence for the past 5 years, missed out on one at $13,000 then at $15,000 and now I’ve finally pulled the trigger but had to pay double that. I think it’s worth it! I asked myself a bigger question, “who the F are the Eternals”. Years of purchasing books, I’ve never once thought of buying the Eternals, nor will I be now. My two cents.
