  4. SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #14 Grade: 7.5 VF - Price: $300 MAY 1954; Cream to off white pages. Dr. Wertham must have had a field day with this title. Wally Wood gives the would-be Keeper of the Nations Morals more fodder for his witch-burning with this cover of a poor guy trying to stop rounds from a tommy gun, with predictable results. The issue wound up being used in the Senate investigation hearings, a sure sign of an excellent issue. Wood, Jack Kamen, Bernie Krigstein, and George Evans toiled on the interior art.
