That was my thought exactly. They seem to put that sticker on any book they are paid for. Who is paying them for that "service" if you can call it that...

I hate to crush the dream......................I would not do it, honest...Unless you are an expert at modern books and how to order and stock a retail store, with games, cards, statues, and the like in the 21st century it's very difficult. My local guy just "sold out" to a gamer, no comics, but losts of game tables....he told me he took a job to make the bills of the comic store......Ask Moondog or Bedrock City ( Richard) what he thinks.....Ask a store owner or former owner for the real skinny.

What pedigree is this? I think I found that book in a dealer trash box at Chicago con many years back. I saw the Larson markings right off and grabbed it up, water stains and all! I cannot remember who I sold it to?

I picked up about 700 magazines this week. A near full run of Savage Sword, including some UK editions, plus a ton of Starlog, Fangoria, Gorezone, Space Wars,1984 and 1994, Six Million Dollar Man, Starlord, Spirit, Apple Pie ( some hippy mag), Marvel Previews, Some sort of Dracula publication for the UK, a 20 issue run of 1960s ERB Dom, etc...and many misc copies. Most of in high grade. I will try and post some pics

when did you purchase the books? 11/20..I also received a PM from Boomtown. He bought from the same thread and we are both holding the bag.. This guy is in the wind, again...Two days after he is off the list he pops up a new thread and starts all over again...He is not answering PMs or emails....Wonderful.

I want to add comickat to the list. He never shipped me the books I bought and he appears to be off the grid. Sad part is he just got off the list and now I want him back on..
