Just got this in the mail today. Mohawk Valley. Don't know much about this pedigree, but it's only the 2nd pedigree I've ever owned(used to have a Space Detective 4 White Mountain). Cream to OW but I'm very pleased with it.

A DC legend in my opinion. He drew everything for them from Flash to Phantom Stranger. A great artist.

What grade is the PS 3? Oh, and when and how much are you going to sell it to me for? Nevermind, I saw the grade sticker on it. A great book that I am, for some reason having difficulty locating in 9.4.

Just received this one from J&S today. Only need number 5 now.

I just bought 2 from SW last week. Listed as NM/NM+ Metropolis has overgraded a couple, but works with you to make things right without hesitation.

Kaluta's DC Work is the best. One of my favorite covers, too. Reminds me of those great Atlas comics.

You're right. I withdraw all mocking. I'm too new to do that anyway.

Personally, I like hearing about some of the great finds and deals people have snatched off of eBay. Why? Because half the time the book is so overgraded that you can't give it away. And... I'd pay crazy money for a flash 206 in 9.6 or an Auquaman 51 in 9.4 even. We all pay crazy money for books we really want.

I agree with you on this one. I once bought a listed 9.2(raw) Ghosts 1 for 70 bucks and it came back a 9.4. I just made 300 bucks. I don't sell 'em, but it's nice to know what they're worth.

I see the same pink mark on the book as mine. Definately a printing thing then. I don't think you overpaid. I paid 9.2 guide for my 9.4/9.6 (30) and was elated.

The grade on the WWT is either a 9.4 or a 9.6. In the top right after "the mystery and the madness of..." there is a slight change in color(pink). It's not a color touch or anything but looks more like a printing error. There is also the slightest non color breaking crease at the top staple. Can barely see it but its there. Outside of the color thing I bet it'd come back a 9.6. Yeah, got this one from the retired dealer. Swampy, I don't think so. Maybe a prototype, but the story doesn't come close to the HOS swampy.

It's not too bad for me though. He wants me to sell 'em on eBay and I'll take home 20%. It's a pretty easy way to make a buck so I can buy more DC's. I've done it fo another LCS in town and it was a great experience. Anyway, I figure he has given me a lot of great deals and I've pretty much cleaned him out of all of the DC's from 69-85 in high grade (about 500 books!) so he can make a little FMV for his Marvels.
