I emailed CGC with this question: How are grading times being impacted? Do you foresee being shutdown? I have 17 scheduled for grading as of the 11th. Another 70 received early last week. Figured I would ask. Stay safe! Stay healthy! And got back this response: As of now we are open for business, and it is not affecting anything. Hope that helps

Yeah Bought up a couple collections. That make up about 2/3 of my collection. The rest of it was buying lots to flip, and a friend was scooping up any comics he ran across them at yard sales. Adds up REALLY fast. Plus I went to couple comic cons and hit the dollar bins.

2019 was a good year for my collection. The overall market prices retreated, but my collection grew considerably. My personal collection hit the 4k mark by the end of the summer. I picked up every first appearance and event for the Bizarro world. I finished out a full run of the third volume of Green Lantern. Knocked out 2/3 of my daredevil vol 1 run. Picked up a 14k book collection that ranged from mid 1980s to mid 2010s. Sent 100 books to CGC. Went to two Comic Cons. Started a instagram channel and grew it to 700 followers. Started a comic book website (still working on it). And best of all made a couple more local comic book friends.

I have a prescreen from 1/17 that is also still in the "received" status.

I jumped in feet first 3 years ago and have grown from 300 comics to just topping 20K books. I have roughly 2K duplicates. Just finished a general box catalog as I converted the long boxes to 116 short boxes. Plus the 21 short boxes I already had. And the 6 hard plastic short boxes. Close to 100 CGC slabs. My wife says I have a problem, and I agree. Not sure her problem and mine are one in the same....lol. Mine being that I need more space for more comics

Hey all, just getting back into comics in the last year. And finally sent away for my first slabs. My comics took a huge boast when hastings closed. Picked up about 400 comics at .06 to .10 a book. Since then I filled out my red lantern series to completion. And realized after reading them all just how much it requires you buy into all the series >.< so here I am 12 mo ths later with 1500 comic books lol. The series am most focused on right now is filling out all of the daredevil comic books, and his cross overs A lengthy task that i have learned to slow down on before I have to sell my house to pay for all the comics I want today lol. Otherwise loving reading the old series books. And finding my interest is in more of the silver and early bronze comics. The art is amazing! And the evolution of the story drags you in! Even started a wall for displaying my favorites
