  1. There seems to be less misinformation this past month for some reason.
  2. We've had people here in the past that were master trollers and they're still here. What this guy is doing is irritating but that's about it. Also, if we banned people for being "incorrect" and not heeding advice, we'd lose about 70% of the membership. The misinformation bandied about on this forum is staggering at times.
  3. What has he done to justify being banned? I mean, yeah these posts are annoying but if we banned people for being annoying, we'd lose about half of the membership here.
  4. Who will sit on the Iron Throne? Oh wait, wrong end game.
  5. I think everybody would but that's beside the point. The grading rules shouldn't be different for GA comics
  6. Another Milgrom cover that I like. Would have been so much better though without that stupid "win a bike" banner at the top but that's hardly Al's fault.
  7. I can understand that. When Sal took up the book again in 1988, his style had changed and became more angular and thick lined. I enjoy 70s and early 80s Sal but am lukewarm on later Sal.
  8. It bothers me too. If a book is restored, it's restored. Even if its very minor it's still restored and ought to be treated as a restored book. I think this comes down to just CGC being too lenient on their grading of GA books. It's nonsense and all it does is lead to confusion, distrust, and misinformation. They sometimes do the same thing with a small amount of glue on a book.
  9. CGC lost my lunch. I asked them to put it in the fridge and now it's not there.
  10. The stories aren't bad but the art is almost uniformly mediocre. Not necessarily bad just nothing to get excited about. Some of the covers (Miller, Byrne and a few others) are good but when you have guys like Hannigan and Mooney doing the interior art and Milgrom doing covers, it's hard to get too worked up about it. Doesn't help that they had a revolving door of artists and inkers doing the book during at that time. Seems like Peter Parker and Web of... (artistically even worse then PP) were the red headed step children to ASM.
  11. He could have shipped it 1st class or priority and it still could have been delivered to the wrong location. The fact that it's media mail does not make it more likely to be not delivered to the correct address.
  12. Looks like they used Marvel Tales 68 but changed the logo to ASM, for some strange reason. Pretty cool looking but odd.
  13. I can't even fathom what an "RMA" shirt would look like. I should get one of these and walk around cons with it on https://www.cafepress.com/+,643267890/?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=pla-google&utm_campaign=617797881-d-c&utm_content=26276425330-adid-88656221530&utm_term=pla-73026450850-pid-643267890&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9uGd9qfm4QIVylYNCh3p5gQ0EAQYAiABEgLGqvD_BwE
  14. Milgrom was not very good. he was fast and could churn out covers but not very good. Having said that, I like this one. One of the few Milgrom covers (on any series) that I can stomach
  15. It is what it is, I guess but I've always had a problem with this. In an ideal world, the shipping company would be responsible and not the seller, as long as the seller did nothing wrong. It makes me angry to be held accountable for something that's not my fault. Complete bullpoop.
  16. A few DC pinbacks. I think these might be more in the modern range than copper era though
  17. I care about his opinion. Also, you throw out the bully card and then perpetuate further "bullying" with your response. Well played. Of course, that's if anyone buys into these examples as "bullying", which I don't. Somehow, I think the majority of people who throw that term around (thrown around way too freely and carelessly these days) have never been truly bullied in their lives.
  18. Correct. I understand why people want to collect preview stuff like this. They are fun and interesting but they aren't first appearances as defined by decades of comics fandom
