  1. It's easier if we all just ignore him or at least do not quote him. Excellent point
  2. Rude! Just ignore @jsilverjanet and @Jeffro™ ... they're perpetually upset that everyone who joined after 2002 will always be a newb sharing equally in the title of "no one". Tagging a noob in a post. How quaint
  3. I am just not sure Lois Lane, even with an 'expanded' role in movies, is getting anybody excited. I can take you to a store where you can buy Silver Age Lois Lane comics at $6 all day. Nothing surprises me anymore. When previously minor throwaway characters that no one cared about like Rocket Raccoon and Squirrel Girl become super hot and highly sought after, anything is possible.
  4. Any user can choose to not accept PMs from other users. It's in the account settings. Uncheck the box and no one can send you PMs.
  5. I don't "need" to do anything, FYI. I was wrong. One of you is a child
  6. I find the superhero stuff to be less enjoyable in black and white. Something like Tomb of Dracula though is glorious in B&W. All of Gene Colon's work should be in B&W
  7. So you're admitting to spamming? Which is against the rules - as has been mentioned - ad nauseam. Both of you need to ignore each other. Your bickering is not needed on this forum. Seriously, put each other on ignore and actually don't respond to each other's posts. You're not children.
  8. Is that "dealer" still in business?
  9. a couple of times early in my game life when there were nice deals, but pretty quickly maxed out my levels and bonus and just set up a KEM farm for doughnuts, granted I stopped playing a few years ago.... hmm wonder if I could still get into my account... I sent a guy $5 via payPal and he gave me 1.4 million donuts and every character released at the time. Sent five other players to him for the same thing. @Jeffro™ Paying EA for donuts is for suckers
  10. I'm sure they're very nice but too rich for my blood. Now, if they did custom orders based on the covers of my choice, that might be worth allocating the money.
  11. Maybe the Market needs somebody like Crazy Eddie.
  12. Good news! According to an anonymous tip, the Market has checked itself into a top 100 Behavioral Health medical facility and is responding well to treatment.
  13. The enemy of my enemy is my friend In 1943, it wasn't generally known that "Uncle Joe" was just as much a monster as Hitler. Holy ! I didn't realize it but that was Stalin's second man of the year cover. Hitler got one too.
  14. Assuming (my spec. I can't prove or disprove) that the seller still has the book and canceled the sale due to seller's remorse, the ethical thing to do would be to follow through with the sale, chalk this up to a learning experience and next time do his research before trying to sell a slabbed comic. It sucks to leave money on the table but when it's your own damn fault, you man up and do the right thing.
  15. The kudos forum was designed from the beginning to be positive feedback only. As I recall, there were some early incidents involving negative stuff posted in kudos threads that were removed by mods. The thread below has some discussion from and with Arch Should the idea of negative feedback by brought back up for discussion? Guess it couldn't hurt to ask but my gut says such discussions won't go anywhere.
  16. Grell's wife at the time, Sharon Wright, ghosted the scripting of most or all issues from #53 to 71. https://www.cbr.com/comic-book-urban-legends-revealed-167/ Wow. I had no idea. Thanks for posting that. Reading the article, Grell says - "I was otherwise occupied with the Tarzan comic strip, Starslayer and creating Jon Sable. Something had to give and Sharon Wright just happened to be an enormously talented writer who thoroughly understood the character (something ensuing writers seemed to lack) and told a great story. Boy, he's right about that. Warlord just wasn't the same after he and his wife stopped writing the series.
  17. No idea but he did pick up a bus, threw it back down and then waded through the buildings toward the center of town.
  18. Not end of the silver age but I have an Atom 7 that has a couple ink splotches on interior pages.
