For me it's pretty much my lcs as he has a good collection of all Era spiderman titles. Then at cons I do like to browse vendors. Not much for buying online. As I like to see book in person.

Thanks for the link for grading I was just saying I wonder what my book likely would be. As I know it likely wouldn't be high number.

Wow killer stuff if you get it.

Can't wait to see everyone new pieces for the year.

I don't have to many annuals myself. Though it would be nice to get them all too while trying to complete main book run.

LOVE the batman sketch. As a reference, I think back in the day DC covers were harder to sketch on compared to Marvel, and less available. That might be why it was created back in 2010.
You also run into the trouble about certain covers becoming hard to come by or a high commodity. Its at the point now where if I can find a Scooby Apocalypse blank for under $25 it's a good day.... I am seriously considering switching to non Scooby blanks for sketches once I run out of my current holdings.
Could just got for art boards then?

Ya it's always odd seeing a character from a different company on a different company cover lol. But sweet scores.
Also was curious with 2021 almost over. Has any one made the official 2022 sketch cover thread yet.

Agree there if you like certain artists or select characters. Go with thst. As you know what you like and know by looking up x artist what to expect out of them.
-
Well if you like to get sketch cover slabs. You could always just buy one of those gater guard slab things. Then going with the whole hybrid cgc label.

Thanks for link

So if you guys recall the Dave Dorman Vader sketch I posted a few weeks back. For my nephew which he loved. Dave rep told me he wanted to send me a extra goodie. And Dave rep sent me a pic of the extra goodie. A Yoda sketch from Dave for me. How wicked is that.

Ya totally sucked in 2020 with no shows at all. I Just did mail out sketches. This year lucked out I got 2 cons. One which is so so. Other is brand new and focusing more on comic vendors. So less chance if artists. That is why I sad one I mention isn't planning a 2022 show since they didn't do 20, 21, and now 22.
As that was a really good show. Got good media guests and stellar line up if comic folks. Ya I know that city having more covid issues then mine. But they already made it fact to go to plays, concerts, sporting events you have to be Vax and show proof. So that why I little shock that show isn't going too do show in 22. As I would been fine with too hat restriction to have a show. But I hope to show will happen again. As that is also current deal for Canada show. So I guess Canada show be my only good shot next year for in person sketches.

Thanks ya been a slow process. With Jim being second on jam. I doing heroes on front. Then 9 villains on back. The hard part is I had no cons last year. And this year technically had only 2 cons. When I used to have 3 cons I went too. 1 is totally over.
And I just read one of my others I like that usually in may as of right now is not planning to do show again in 2022 due to how covid and restrictions are presently which sucks alot.
So next year I likely will only go to 2 shows. Maybe a 3rd if that one happens. And one is across Canada boarder so got to see what building covid restrictions and boarder crossing be then.
So besides that I also haven't totally figured out what characters or artists I want on it. Compared to my spiders character jam cover. I got 2 characters done. 2 artists lock in and only need to figure 2 artists to go to then finish it off.

Not in hand but got sent picture in email a couple hours ago. Last month went to a comic show in my area. Which has Jim shooter as a guest.
And earlier this summer learned he used to draw back in the day. And saw some sweet pieces he did for a sketch op. He didn't bring any drawing stuff to show. But was willing to take books and mail back when done.
So I had him add a captain America to my marvel comics 1000 jam I started last year. Jim is second guy to add to the jam.

Personally I would stick to artists and character you like and follow the most. For example I am big spiderman fan. Pretty much all my sketch covers and commission art board pieces have been spiderman related. And I recently got into page art this summer. And got a bunch of asm/ spiderman life story pages. All from Mark bagley.

God I really wish I was closer to filling my 1 to present day run. But I am needing still 277 and that is between 1 to 380s. So ya some in that be easy to get. The rest ie big keys and the pre 100s is where I know going to be pricey.
-
Just mail outs. I only had one con in my area this year. Where I got the jam first started.

I know I asked this in relation to just asm. Where would each Era silver to modern be. As I know there is a bit of a gray area of late silver and bronze age what issues are considered.
