It's been almost a year since the acquisition of CGC by Blackstone. Curious as to what their investment thesis was... It's one thing to diversify and add more sources of revenues, but if you can't deliver the service to your customers in a reasonable time frame, the reputational cost could hurt the business big time... If they can't solve this issue organically by hiring/training more graders quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if they start acquiring the competition. My two-cents F

On the MTU 141 the two smaller round spots are printing defect (you can see them on some 9.8 copies). The bigger spot over them? Not sure at all...

My grades are in! (with very little expectation this time around)

My total score of 14 pts is correct.

My personal theory is that all defects being equal, the age of a book will play in its favour (the oldest getting a higher grade than a more recent comic book... ) That's what guided me when I was comparing the Wings Comic vs IH181 (that btw has two tears at the top of back cover)

I liked Druig even though he didn't end up as a villain like in the comics. Chemistry with Makkari was great. Out of the cast, Barry Keoghan gave one of the best performance in this movie.

Saw it today, much much better than I expected. Felt like a more mature MCU movie. Less action but better characterization. It will be interesting to see how this will set the stage for the MCU's cosmic arc etc.
