  1. Look up Archies joke book #66 in the O-street guide the variant price edition. Archie comics were being test marketed with both 12c and 15c cover prices in the early 1960s. I sold an Archies Laugh #144 comic from 1963 with a 15 cent cover price on it about 2 years ago. I was blown away when I looked at the title page and it clearly stated 12c per copy inside the comic. I had a dealer check his stock and all 4 copies of his archies laugh #144 had the regular 12c cover price on them as most all archie regular size comics have from 1962-1969. Wow! imagine that 15 cent cover prices on archie series comics way before they went from 12c to 15c in late 1969. Any other archie issues out there that are 15c cover vs 12c and not listed in the guide out there folks? Check yours they are rare to find. Let me know if you discover any of them. Happy collecting.
  2. No, I dont have all the variants of these but do have a complete set now in 9.2,9.0 and 7.5 grade. Two of the three have outstanding beautiful WHITE PAGES. The CGC census will be updating soon---- I hope.
  3. Say, I recently got back a GTOL #3. CGC graded it a 7.5 with WHITE PAGES!!!. Census highest graded copy. Yes, I may consider selling it(smile). Happy collecting to all.
  4. Hey! anyone out there looking for a DC 100 page super spectacular #5? I listed a copy on ebay on 8/5/07. Happy collecting everyone!
  5. Hello Everyone! I just listed an Iron Fist #14 Price Variant 35 center on Ebay!------ The last one listed on ebay( a raw copy) went for $880.00.
  6. Nice! now there is a GTOL #1 CGC 9.6 graded.. The one and only GTOL #1 CGC 9.4 copy sold for $1,800.00 back in March of 2007 so I imagine your CGC 9.6 would go for around $3,000.00 or more? That Grade is mindboggling on that magazine the worlds best copy no doubt in that grade. Glad you sent in your GTOL #3 to have one finally graded on the census. I believe GTOL #3 may some day be listed as RARE in the guide if no more surface over the years to come. I am only aware of 2 known existing copies of GTOL #3 and thats it!. How does one put a price on a bronze Marvel magazine that probably less than 10 copies exist in any grade? The census highest copy of GTOL #2 is CGC 9.2 which I actually now own. I wonder if a CGC 9.4 will ever be graded of GTOL #2 being that there are so few out there to be found in any grade. GTOL magazines have no issue numbers on the front covers and are square bound in format thats so unique(smile). I believe your GTOL #3 could go for $1,000 on ebay if listed. Collectors know its impossible to have a complete set of GTOL without GTOL #3. ..
  7. #3 is with out doubt the hardest to find in any grade!!!! I sold a FR grade copy of GTOL #2 for $60 when the NM guide price was $50 for it that was 5 years ago!. Now look at what it guides for in 9.2!!!!!. A raw copy of GTOL #1 that I paid $16.00!! for, sold a few months ago in CGC 9.4 for $1,800.00!!! ----- part of the sale was in trade! Bill999

  9. The Scans are faded on the 75 cent editions of GTOL 1,2 that I sent because issue #1 was from a scan sent to me by someone who one the book on ebay and its the way I got it in the mail. The GTOL #2 scan of the 75 cent edition I scaned from a FR grade copy. The scan is faded sorry to say but the best I could provide. It was about 9 months ago I confirmed all 3 issues existed in both 60 and 75 cent formats. I have never owned issue #3 either price versions but wish I had a copy in any grade!
  10. WOW! a GTOL #3 scan it looks great and its even the 60 cent price variant issue! My god! you say you paid $1.00 for it? Imagine what that GTOL #3 would go for on ebay today!!!!!. One the "title page" of all the 60 cent cover price editions of GTOL it states 75 cents per copy but its clear for one to see that they all sports a 60 cent cover price logo. All we need now folks is a scan of the 75 cent edition of GTOL #3 posted on the board!

I sold a GTOL #2( 75 cent cover price version) in FR grade! for $60.00 on ebay about 5 years ago. A raw copy of GTOL #1 in said VF grade went for $600.00 on ebay last year gasp!. I sold as a set GTOL #1NM+ and #2 VF for $250.00 to Doug Sulipa of Comic world. The GTOL #1 I once owned in NM+ would be worth how much today ? . Bill
