  1. I'm a few days late in commenting but seeing as to when his dad was collecting i am probably very nearly the same age as i began in the 60's. I can tell you as a kid we, my brother, my dad and myself, all would read them. There was no way they would have survived to this day looking so nice. This is a revelation to look at. Before anyone asks, i sold about everything in 1979 to buy my wifes engagement ring
  2. i think considerable wear but no single problem being terribly significant. Overall the colors are bright. I'll go as high as a 6. Probably 5.5 but presents nicely.
  3. Nice book. If it had retained better color i would go 7.5-8 but that yellow has an old look to it so i go with the 7. Hey. I'm in my 60's and made my first post a few minutes ago.
  4. When i look at the next posting with TOS 39 and everyone falling into 4-4.5 i would be incredibly hard pressed to see this as a 3. 1.5-2 is where i land.
  5. my 1st posting. thank you for the extra photos to help make decisions as to grading. I'd go with 4.5 but i think the book has better eye appeal than that. Corners are very nice for that age.
