Anyone can get them unstuck. The degree of residual damage is determined by the skill of the person working on the book.
I'm still thinking about this book. Could you elaborate about techniques to remedy this problem? It has a decent amount of value, and I'd hate to screw it up. Looking for insights and options. Thank you.

I sent a book via registered mail, and fully insured. It sat at the same facility for three days. Buyer got it 5 days after USPS advertised timeframe. But, in their defense, they acknowledged the slow process during these trying times.

I was told about this almost a year ago, and have noticed a few copies milling about.

I was just lucky, fortunate to get mine in a couple of different box lots, garage sale type things. I paid what folks were asking, and ended up being very happy. Got a one shot crime book, and a Diary Secrets. I almost passed on the romance book. Glad that I didn't.

It has probably been discussed in this thread, but does DD 24 have an error copy by chance? I've seen pictures of several with small circle near DD's right elbow.

How many Baker covers are there? How many do you still need? Lol.. I have a grand total of 2 Baker covers.

There is a small circular patch near DD's right elbow. I've seen a few copies online with it, but have not heard any talk about it. It must not be important. This is not my comic.

Anything that has a following or any size, may immediately appeal to the newbie. Anything that has little following, seems less if not totally unappealing. Nostalgia of 40's & 50's comics brought me back. PCH got me hooked. Crazy colors and artwork, wild stories, and of course, Other People Love It

This would be an interesting experiment on many levels, not to mention in risk vs reward, and in how well this 13 yr old grade holds up today.

Graders notes?

Well loved, and then forgotten. Hoping you pull a 2.0. Any plans for making it look a bit nicer, or leaving as is?
-
Everything attached? Well loved, but I've seen 2.0's with more fc/bc loss than this.

Extensive writing on cover note, blue label.

You post some of the neatest books in this thread. I, the eternal newbie, would not chance the spine correction. From what I can see, that book looks like a 5.0..

Would loved to have known if there was writing elsewhere, and to have seen a couple pics of the interior.

Recently returned to enjoying and collecting comics. Disney was a huge part of my childhood, at least on Sunday nights. To have a chance at a piece of that feeling again is much appreciated. My first attempt at dipping my toes into the Disney waters is this raw, as found copy. The best part of it all, is that my folks may have read this book back in the day..

So I have this tough book, with a few problems. Been thinking, talking, contemplating about what to do with it, how best to care for it. Thank you all.
