  1. I highly doubt that there was a mutual “settlement” for lack of better words. I agree with some of your statements but I would argue it is a big deal. It’s CGC’s primary service, to trust a third party grader. Honesty, the thing that concerns me the most is that it’s a high grade Golden Age book. If this was a modern, I could over look it (but still be a little worried). For high value books / rare books and for what they charge this is unacceptable (if true). Edit: Gambling is one thing. A book at this level is not worth the risk for such a small return (relatively $$$ speaking).
  2. I think everyone could agree that it’s not worth the stress , risk for a book of that notoriety and relatively small amount of dollar return on the gamble. Personally, I think it’s a legit compliment and a massive error from CGC. I do agree with the YouTuber that Heritage and CGC most likely have no legal responsibility but it would be a good gesture from them to help out with the loss. just my
  3. Not saying they should but technically the buyer did not get what he paid for. I think CGC bears some responsibility if it could be proved with zero doubt that is in fact the same book and there is no scam going on.
  4. I’ve enjoyed his YouTube videos in the past but his latest video looks like it’s a “going out of business” sale and is trying to get money to spread comics to kids… I get that and agree, but “need money” for that!!! I have (as we all do) long boxes that I give away to kids! Scam!?!
