I don’t even really see any in anyone’s collection either. Over the last couple of years I’ve seen maybe 2 or 3. Does somebody own a whole bunch and is just quietly sitting on them? Did they not survive the 60’s?

I posted this elsewhere because I didn’t see that this topic chain existed, but here is what I call the top 10 top 10. First ten appearances of the first ten marvel heroes/groups. All reader copies, but it is complete!

Someone must know this. Why is it impossible to find a Ditko Dr Strange page on the market?

What’s the best method of determining FMV? Just years of experience? To someone who doesn’t have that insight, which books would you say undersold in this last auction? And if they do undersell is that just a fortuitous opportunity for the buyer or an indicator that the FMV might be dropping?

I picked it all up between 97 and 2002. The most expensive at the time was AF 15 that I got for $460. FF 1 and ASM 1 were each $250, Hulk was $200, and TOS 39 was $150. Everything else was $100 or less. I’d say on average, I spent about 30 dollars per comic for everything else. All told I spent probably no more than 5k. Granted they’re all lower grade, and at the time, it was a lot of money, but I’m so glad I did because to do so now would be impossible!

I have a fairly low grade AF 15. Probably a 1.5. Is it worth it to have it slabbed? It’s complete, secured at all the staples, but missing a corner at the bottom of the book. No art is affected by the cut

Would this meet your criteria? I would consider parting with it if the price were right...

New to the board. I got the TTA 64 Attuma Page for $600. Silver Age Marvel. Seems like a steal but maybe it’s just the market correcting. Thoughts?
