  1. Interesting, I hear people (mostly dealers in my area) also say that Cap Marvel will be the face of the MCU moving forward. To be honest, I can’t see that - but what do I know?! Did Feige said something to that effect? I agree with your assessment that the Kelly Sue Deconick run from 2012 is undervalued - great read too! Unfortunately, it is a tough spec because CGC’s label points to Avenging SM as the money book. The reality is, a lot of people don’t read their comics anymore! I kept my mid grade copy of Ms Marvel 1 but sold my 6.5 raw MSH13. I found it irresponsible of me not to cash out during the hype. Now that the hype has calmed down, prices appeared to have plateaud as well - and all the rabid buyers (mostly speculators) have moved on to the next book to spec on. I’m just hoping that people who bought MSH13 and MM1 in the last 30days and paid FMV have the intention on keeping their copies - eBay is flooded with copies right now.
  2. Question for the savvy investor: What is the staying power of Marvel Superheroes 13 and Ms. Marvel 1? Captain Marvel movie has been out for almost 2 weeks now and I just don’t get the sense that people should be holding on to these for investment purposes. Unlike Black Panther, which is beloved by not only the Afro community but also the general public. Im not trying to be political or SJW here. I love super hero movies (both DC and Marvel) but this is just my observation. Thanks!
  3. Wow, you clearly came up on top! Congrats... A Bronze Age spec book traded for a Silver Age grail is a no brainer!!
  4. Price - $575 Shipping - $14 US / $25 Canada Returns - n/a Payment - PayPal due in 24 hrs No creases - just accumulation of smaller defects and light wear on the bottom and top edge of cover. THIS COPY IS NOT PRESSED
  5. Increase in prices are driven by demand. Flippers are affecting prices through increased flipping activities. I agree, some of this may not be “new demand” but it is affecting market prices - similar to how a flock of new collectors are all of a sudden a big fan of GSXM1.
  6. I honestly believe the new demand will come from the increased amount of flipping amongst flippers. You know, the hot potato game. This happens all the time when a book gets hot due to movie speculation.
  7. Good point. Kevin Feige beat DCEU to the punch here. I’m not even sure what can DCEU offer us geeks that the MCU hasn’t.
  8. Hands down - Warewolf by Night 32 is the most overrated comic book right now. I don’t see any upside with that book. Do you guys seriously see MK headlining an MCU / Disney Movie? Might show up in Disney+ streaming but I’m sure it will be a tamed version, which will suck anyways.
  9. I agree, marvel keys are expensive. DC keys, not so much. I can understand why DC keys are attractive to an “investor” point of view. To each his own.
  10. I know a lot of people who speculated on DC keys (minor keys too) that got burned. Aquaman and Wonder Woman are both fun films to watch but the DCEU needs some sort of direction on where their movie universe is going. I'm not sure what DCEU can do that the MCU hasn't done yet.
  11. I think his YT videos are for noobs or something...
  12. I still think X-Men 1 is a safe bet. Some of the greatest stories ever told were from the pages of UXM. With proper care, X-Men can flourish in the MCU for decades to come.
  13. This is app is designed for speculators and for those people who likes to be told on which books to spend their money on.

  15. I am not a dealer but I used to frequent comic shows and are friendly to the local dealers in my area. Every time I go to shows, I always ask dealers I am tight with on what were their pick ups before the doors opened. They would show me multiple copies of hot books bought from an unknowing seller or high grade keys for a few cents on a dollar. I normally praise their savvy buying tactics but this leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. When I go to shows, I would FIRST buy 1 or 2 keys and a lot of fillers for my run. I eventually stopped going to the local shows as I find it pointless. I find that the thrill of hunting for decently priced keys is now gone.
  16. Talked about the Gaines File Copies, cool info found on Marvel Comics 1, and Grading in the early 90's. No hot book alert and speculation here!
  17. I think this differentiates today's bubble to that of the 90's. The internet has become a tool to spread ones opinion on a book as "gospel". Aside from vintage keys, I don't see today's prices to be sustainable.
  18. eBay would be your best bet. Hot books can go to Auction and the rest can be BIN OBO. You can sleep well at night knowing you sold your books at the largest online marketplace.
