  1. My gallery at comicartfans.com - I'm adding new stuff all the time: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=55256
  2. My apologies for listing storylines instead of single issues. 10) 78 9) 61-66 8) 80 7) 93-96 6) 104-107 5) 19 4) 82 3) 26 + 27 2) 21 1) 1
  3. Two questions for the G.I. Joe collecting community: 1) What was the amount offered by a member on these boards for a 9.8 G.I. Joe #21? 2) One of the hottest back issues in the 80s was G.I. Joe #2. It was often advertised as low print run. Was this ever validated? Were there ever numbers given? Was it clever marketing by retailers? Thanks
  4. As far as I'm concerned, anything 80's qualifies. Whatcha got?
  5. If this has not been answered to general satisfaction, I would like to chime in: I think the UPC is the first print. The Spidey-face UPC is direct. And Black Spidey-face is 2nd and maybe third print. Can anyone back this up?
  6. Found it! Great article in Comics Feature #54 (1987)
  7. It doesn't happen often, but some really good 'Nam stuff is on sale right now: Vansant 'Nam
  8. Van Sant original art: Red Badge of Courage Red Badge of Courage Antietam Antietam Witch's Couldron Reaping the Whirlwind 'Nam #81
  9. I met Van Sant at the Atlanta Comic Convention earlier this year. I had never heard of him before, but was impressed by his personality and skill. I was able to pick up some original art (he had tons for sale at low prices).
  10. Did you know that this is a censored cover? There was originally a severed head on the ground (belonging to the corpse on the right I believe) but it was pulled for being too graphic. If only I could remember where I saw the original cover, back in the day. Maybe in a Comics Scene article. But I can't be sure. I like the story behind it, because it reminds me of a lot of the E.C. covers that got toned down 30 years prior.
  11. Going back to the #1-20. I just read that the preliminary -script for the Joe movie has Destro as the main villain. Can any one back that up? Also, which is his first app: #11 or #12? I don't think that one gets nearly enough attention.
