  1. My favorite GA Lady making a Timely appearance!
  2. Has anyone seen an Eldon signature that has both cursive and block print? Legit or no?
  3. Not the greatest scan, but a great patriotic and war cover!
  4. How about another Super-Mystery you don’t see much. This one happens to be autographed on the first page by Jim Mooney himself!
  5. Here are the two Lightning war covers. Not in the best of condition but so tough to find, I’m thrilled to have them.
  6. I have a few Ace wwii cover books. Here’s Kurtzman’s first comic cover work.
  7. I wanted a 9.8 wwii cover from a smaller publisher and I hit a home run. Headlights and a swastika ... what more could you want?
  8. Trying to keep this thread breathing.... Here are my Headline wwii covers. My Headline 7 is a signed camp copy Okajima.
  9. Tryna wake this thread up. Still a few to go, but thank goodness I only have to find the remaining seven wwii covers to complete my run.
  10. A tough book from a tough run in tough shape ... but still thrilled to add a new wwii cover to the pc. Six on the CGC Census.
  11. I always start at the beginning ... with a press and re-grade
  12. Blue is my favorite color. Great work by CCS removing a wee bit of color touch!
  13. This is a hybrid, but Red Ryder four and five fit my wwii cover collection and appear to be somewhat scarce. I just found #4 after searching for the books for a good while. There are five %4 books on the Census. There are only four graded #5 books. If anyone has a spare #5, let me know! Tom Mix had a couple of early war cover books (Tom Mix Commandos), but they seem to be more common.
  14. One more contribution this afternoon. I can’t post all of my Speed wwii covers for competitive reasons, so I’ll just start from the beginning. I have 18 of the 27 war covers between #1 and #38 (how dare they not make them all war related covers - the nerve!). I don’t have #1 yet, so here is the second highest graded copy of #3 (12 unrestored on the CGC Census - highest is a 7.5), the tough #9 (nine on the Census), and the even tougher #11 (six on the Census).
  15. Here’s my contribution today - the full set of Pocket Comics, all wwii covers. Black Cat’s first appearances show her in a strong and sexy light. Red Blazer’s first appearance is also contained in issue 1.
