Were British copies even printed in the UK? I just assumed they were printed int the US then shipped over?
UK price variants were printed in the US and then shipped overseas. But there are also British only titles that were printed and sold solely in the UK

I think that books in the silver and golden age from most major publishers were printed in the US. Unless the book is a foreign release or foreign printing.
As far as just knowing at a glance I don't think so. You would have to look into the particular title online.

I was thinking of submitting a Bronze Age, late 70s New York phone book on which a pre-fame Frank Miller has doodled early preliminary sketches of Elektra and a brief plot synopsis for Daredevil 168, also signed by the creator.
A shame though that, despite its pedigree, the phone book will not be awarded a Signature Series label.
Is this serious? That would be a cool thing to see.

3)Take a look at this video from December 16th 1969, courtesy of BBC Archive. It's a clip from BBC Science magazine program Tomorrow's World featuring James Burke. Freeze the video around the 40-second mark and look at the new comics in the rack on the wall. Takes you back, eh? I can make out both an ATOM and Captain Marvel.
Here's the link to the video https://twitter.com/BBCArchive/status/1074333330269704193
Looks like a Jimmy Olsen issue too!

Some of the better finds of mine at a recent comic show. The first Braniac was a crazy good find as it was mixed with other low grade silver age books for 50 cents. Everything here was purchased for less than 200 including another stack of cheaper books not pictured. The uk books were 3 bucks a pop.

Here’s my list up through last week:

Why is Jobe on the list. I think it's pretty obvious he didn't do anything wrong?

Not counting the Frankenstein dc’s that uniquecomics is churning out do we see double covers on comics that are less than a decade old? I talked to owners at my lcs about it. They have 2 locations in operation since 2018 and they have never pulled a DC from new comics nor has any customer made mention of purchasing one from them.
Not sure if this truly counts but someone posted this a while back.

I see nothing wrong with B5 as long as it's a lower value book packed with stiff cardboard.

Cool JC Penney reprint!

For people who don't want to have to go to the other thread.
"The crossover event Operation Galactic Storm was offered in 1992 across seven titles, but the Quasar series was being published as a direct-only title at the time. In order to allow the full publication of the crossover on the newsstand, Marvel published the Quasar issues as a three-issue Special series"
