  1. I agree, if there is no accountability then it's basically a free for all mentality. This is a top down problem because ultimately if the people in charge don't care and are apathetic then that set's the tone. It's a case of bad management and it should be corrected, and actual quality control set in place. Pathetic way to run a company in this day and age.
  2. This might be a "heritage" type sale where "if" it was a actual bonafide sale. It might be that they are setting the bar for other future sales of pieces of books to "normalize" the cannibalization of future key's. CGC has lost there way and basically is now McDonalds with out the service and efficiency.
  3. I agree it would be nice to have it in the title so we could just bypass the seller entirely.
  4. I've asked U.S. sellers to put a low amount on the customs form so I don't get hammered from Customs, but I also stated that I accept all responsibility if something should happen.
  5. I actually don't mind them, I end up saving a lot of money on impulse buying. The U.S. only selling threads they probably "only" lose about 30 percent of interested buyer's. And I did love it when Andy put up his Canada only shipping thread.. Classic.
  6. I posted this in the wrong section yesterday. Frank Frazetta's first "solo" story after his first work which is Tally Ho Comics "the Snowman" Was very excited to finally find this in grade.
  7. That is freaking horrible. I will not send any of my Golden age or high grade silver etc to CGC. I think the only thing they should stick to is wrecking peoples moderns.
  8. CGC does have a "Golden Goose" they basically have a huge percentage, share of all the comics in the marketplace. They are the defacto leader in the industry. This may be a good lesson on how to lose market confidence by pure greed and apathy. If they are the "experts" then how do you explain the "Promise" collection with a large percentage of fiasco grading standards as well as so many of the previous comments in this thread.
  9. At least it made it clean through restoration check. Kudos
  10. From not caring about anything except about profit and just plain apathy. The hobby that they are a "saviour" is now going to be squeezed for every red cent and grades, quality control, and respect for the hobby are . Watch it happen in real time.
  11. Maybe it's "blanket" market manipulation. Lots of OA may be coming out of the woodwork now to get sent to Heritage. "Everything" is super valuable now. 2 cents. I think there is a lot of back deal collusion going on the BSD's are manipulating a red hot "perceived" market.
