  1. Just framed the biggest piece in my collection (59"x43" including frame) I took a pic with the other two framed rock art on the same wall. For scale the Rolling Stones image is 11x14.
  2. I have the same reactions to a number of pieces I own, I find myself with a big grin on my face when I look at them. Can't believe I own them.
  3. Grail is such and ugly word (in my best Inspector Kemp voice). There is no one piece that if I got would end my comic art collecting (the addiction is just too strong). If you are talking about a piece that had a special significance to me it would be a few, a page from Silver Surfer #1, one of the pages where he is transformed by Galactus. (I did get John to recreate it for me but is isnt the same). Another would be Daredevil #47 "Brother, Take My Hand" any number of pages from that story. (only ever seen the cover) A favorite of mine growing up. Last Uncanny X-Men #153 "Kitty's Fairy Tale", another favorite story. I did get the DPS which shows all the characters and the opening swashbuckling scene. I could say I achieved a "grail" but then again I am never comfortable with that word. Lets just say the DPS, I have wanted for years, and never thought I would own. Now that I do its one of the gems of my collection. And no, I won't take stupid money (or any other kind of money for it).
  4. My first choice for the removable framing I posted in another thread.
  5. Back in June I won an original Doug Sneyd in a charity auction for Seattle Children's Hospital and was published in "Monsters & Dames Charity Art Auction " book. He has been drawing cartoons in Playboy for 45 years. I just framed it and it looks great haning in my living room.
  6. One of my favorite pieces of the year, Starfire Commission by Eduardo Barreto. Now its framed and hanging in my living room.
  7. Just framed a few more Vampirella prelims by Enrich. My Vampirells wall is coming along fine. Top one is by Bill Hughes, the rest are Enrich
  8. Mine is the Jean Grey and Scott Summers Wedding Print from 1994. It was drawn by Joe Mad and inked by Matt Ryan. Jim Warden who reps Joe remembers selling it but doesn't know to whom. That piece is at the top of my wantlist. If Anyone knows where this is please email me. Thanks. Be seeing you, Brian
