  1. I really should try and get a copy of this book
  2. Very few could care less about Jr's personal art. But he does own some of his father's pieces as part of his collection. It seems like Rodriguez' version of the museum will have the best quality art.
  3. This one looks nice: http://www.comicartfans.com/ForSaleDetails.asp?ArtId=417124
  4. I disagree. A newby could be confused since you don't say clearly that these layouts were drawn in a separate sheet. I think that you're playing with words. My 2ç. Ferran, he's in the business of selling art. I think he's said enough here (no horse in this race, just feel things are getting a little nuts).
  5. I used to own the Byrne page. I'll try and dig up who it sold to.
  6. There's a cool Ploog page from TT in the May Heritage auction
  7. I can come close to agreeing with Suspense comics, but only because #8 is my favorite cover of all time. Planet Comics is also up there for me, as is WTOTF. Cat-Man, too, if you could wipe away all the non-Cole covers. Action Comics if you could only keep the Leo O'Mealia covers. I also think the first twenty covers of both Daredevil Comics and Boy Comics are terrific. As are all the Wood EC covers. Hit Comics is magical if you could do away with the Kid Eternity stuff. The first twenty covers of Zip Comics still blow my mind. Did I hedge my bets enough?
  8. Here's a lead: http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=7073&lotIdNo=177003
  9. So far, they have Lucey, DeCarlo, Schwartz (and Goldberg ) It would be nice to see artists like Frese, Vigoda and White represented. I would also say Montana and Sahle, but most of their stuff has already been reprinted in the Archie Archive books. I would LOVE to see a Frese book. There's hardly anything available celebrating him and IMO he - along with Montana - was the pick of the Archie artists. I felt Decarlo (and Goldberg) skewed too young in their interpretations of the characters. But Frese, Montana, Lucey, Schwartz, White, and Vigoda were the stars for me.
  10. I'd love it if they did this for all the prime Archie artists.
