The miswrap on this book would bother me. The white stripe on the spine is much too crooked and the right edge looks cut off. It's possible the book is 9.0 but, for the risk/reward involved, I think you would be better off buying an already slabbed book.
Yeah - I agree. That’s why to update everyone I ended up not getting this copy. Looking for a slabbed one already. I agree the risk is not worth it for this copy.

I would say an 8.0 but I am pretty harsh. If you're thinking of getting it slabbed afterwards, don't forget to add cost of slabbing, shipping (both ways). You could buy an already graded 8.5 for $110 (cr-ow-) at Metro. They have another 8.5 with white pages for $115. Metro was the only place I looked btw.
Do you have a link to Metro? I could go and check it out. Thanks

I don't think the miswrap hurts your grade too much.
I'd be more concerned about what is going on LRFC. Is that a crease or chip there?
Also, light wear along the top of FC.
Interiors look great!
Hard to grade without seeing the back, but if I had to guess, I'd say 8.5.
How much would you pay for this if you were in the market for one ?

thats awesome...
I've got 10 copies somewhere and need to dig then out here soon...
When I was going through my collection in 2013...I remember running across a full set of The Eternals...and In 1 bag there was 10 copies of #1...at that time it wasnt very valuable and I didnt consider it a major Key so I didnt pull it...buuuuuut now somewhere in the Mound of boxes I know its there and Plan on finding them soon...
Its incredible how hot comics get when A movie is announced...
I couldnt believe how HOT Hulk 271 got...
I remember going through my Hulk collection in 2013 and 271 was $5.00...
Then I check in 2016 and Its RED HOT around $200.00
I couldnt believe how overnight when the first trailer of Ant-Man and The Wasp debuted and revealed Ghost ...Iron Man 219 got Hot
and same with Avengers 223, when The Civil War trailer debuted with AM on Hawkeyes arrow
Its incredible what Movies have done for comics in the last decade +
You need to find the 10 copies ASAP and send them in for grading. About those specific comics you mentioned prices going up. For me it’s hard to tell if one cover or specific issue will go up or not. It is a lot based on the movies and tv shows around speculation of what will come out next and news.
Just look at the first X-men Phoenix issue. Early 2018 could’ve got it for a decent price. It has just only been going up month over month.

The little piece missing out of one of the pages is very common. I think you did pretty good, looks nice.
Thank you! Cool comic to have in my collection.

has this book become hot since the announcement of the movie?
Yeah, just starting to get hot. I think will get only more in value towards the end of 2019..

I think a 9.0 - 9.2
So to update everyone. I purchased this comic thinking it was a 9.2 around Nov 10th. Received it in the mail and then shipped it off to CGC for grading. I was hoping I would get a 9.2 at least. CAME BACK BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!! SUPER HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!!! :) :). 9.4!! white pages!.

Not really sure lol... The only reason I was able to get it was my store had a deal if you took all the variants- you got a bit of a discount and this and the 2 25 to 1 varients at cover. So I wound up getting 13 of them for 90 bucks.
I REALLY like that cover! I found it at a few places for around $20.

Black Order #1 1:50 from today seems to be doing really well. I guess not many stores ordered enough to get the ratio variant.
Yeah... But with 1:25,1:50,and up to 1:200 the dealer could re order again. They keep a good amount. The 1:500 and 1:1000 is a different story. Those I find worth it for variant covers.

And only 30+ variants from Marvel.
I was thinking the same.. Why so many covers! That itself turns me off about vol 5. Also, I never collected previous ones. Probably will grab the main cover.
