    I got this book recently and it seems like most of the copies came out with this defect, which is a color rub on the spines. Does anybody have experience on how it affects the grading?

    I did a search but nothing came back. My question: is it possible to purchase the grader notes after a comic has been received back from CGC? One of my comics got a 9.2 but I can't see any flaw. It seems that a 9.2 would result from a fairly noticeable flaw and I'm not so much disputing it as I want to be on the lookout for similar flaws in the future. Thanks for any advice.

    So the comics went from no status to scheduled for grading overnight. It seems unlikely they’ve been signed without changing status. Does it mean they’ve been signed or is it just a catch-all generic status?

    Hi all, I sent some books that were delivered on March 31st. I forgot to include the packing slip in the box but I did put the printed notes with all information on the backnof each comic. The tracking registers as delivered on CGC website but they haven’t updated the status and it’s almost two weeks. Does this sound normal or should I send an email?

    I wanted to add my timeline to help out those out there still waiting. USPS marked the package as received on March 9. CGC logged my submission as "Scheduled for Grading" on March 31 (it went from no submissions straight to "Scheduled for Grading").

    That’s what I thought. This is my first SS submission. For me it has usually been no more than a week from grading to finalized status, but I’m still new.

    Hey guys, just curious. If the status of the submission is scheduled for grading does it mean that the signing/remarque has been done already? In which case can I expect it to be graded in a few days?

    Hey guys, I was about to submit this one when I noticed a flaw on the lower left corner. I wondered if it was bad enough to get a 9.6 on an otherwise 9.8 (IMO) book. What do you guys think? Thing is this book is fairly new so I’d rather prioritize books that have a better shot at a 9.8. I appreciate your comments.

    Hey guys, can you give me an opinion on this? The book is almost flawless except for the top and bottom spine. I know those are usual flaws but they might be bigger than usual and knock the grade down some. What do you think? I appreciate the feedback.

    The coming is coming in contact with the plastic and creating this unsightly oil spill effect. Now this one got a 9.2 (I, like a complete doofus sent the wrong copy) so I don’t care but I’m about to send my good copy and I don’t want it to look like this. My questions: 1. Is this preventable? 2. Can a note be made requesting to be checked for this? thanks!

    Update 2: It was delivered today. Like I said, no updates since Tampa on the 17th then out for delivery today and finally delivered. Somebody else signed for it at the office

    UPDATE: my two packages were updated today. One is scheduled to be delivered today, the day I’m off from work. I had it delivered to work. So if I’m not there to sign, the postman will ask for anyone’s signature unless it says “to be signed by addressee only”. If it does then will they try again tomorrow?

    Houston here. Mine shipped last Wednesday before Imelda. I thought it was sent by Priority which would have placed the package at the North Houston facility when the roof collapsed. I also haven’t got any updates on mine but I‘ve read that’s normal. I called USPS and they told me it was actually registered mail so it might not have been there. At any rate they say it can take up to 14 days so I wouldn’t worry just yet.
