I'm no expert, but I know it's hard enough to monitor one thread at a time...and there are lots of people who collect both (and will be looking to combine shipping) so, I try to stick to one. Once a week has passed, it's another story, because you can't edit after a few days anyway. It is also easier for people buying to watch one thread at a time. Does that help at all ? Yeah, I guess one will be better. I thought two might be easier to keep clean. I don't know how people like FT keep their massively long threads in line. It would drive me nuts.

I have a question along these lines. I need to raise funds for a grail and will be posting a fair number of books. Would it be considered bad form to have a GA selling thread and a seperate SA selling thread? Would a combined thread more along the lines of a VCC booth be more in order? The guidelines don't state one thread per person and I've seen it done both ways. While both are fine to me, within reason, I'd hate to offend anyone before they even had a chance to view my books and decide they suck on their own merit.

Well, after PM/emailing matewan1990/Michael Browning everywhere I could (thanks Mephisto) I finally got a PM here Tuesday (3/11) from the matewan1990 ID from someone saying he was taking care of things for Michael while he was out of town and if I'd send him my address he'd get me my book asap. I did and the book showed up express delivery yesterday (3/12), accurately graded and well packed. So, good ending for me, but as of yesterday Dawgwindu hadn't been contacted so I guess it's still early to remove him from the list, but looks like a resolution will be forthcoming.

Looks like matewan1990 needs to be added to this list. Sent a MO out a month ago and still no book. Weeks since responding to a PM and the last has gone unread. If anyone has an alterate method of contacting him I'd appriciate it.

Respectfully, but I'm sorry - that's not how it works. Only the offended party can remove you from the list. However, if he (or she) hasn't been fair or open with you, then you may have a gripe. Comments regarding this policy are always welcome. First of all, no offense to ThatOneGuy but, I agree with David. The person with the complaint needs to chime in on this thread before any names are removed from the list. If he doesn't chime in, I believe it will take more than 1 "good deal" before any names get removed. This list is a warning to other board members that at least 1 problem has occured with the people on the list. Ditto. If anything TheWatcher should be added to the list. Dealing with the shunned.

Some of you are outraged about this going on but are OK about contacting an eBay seller about ending auctions with bids already placed in the General Forum thread? Hypocrisy at it's worst... I had the book that you sold and couldn't help myself offering it to your customers Seriously, name and shame the people that backed out Wait a minute. I'm not always the sharpest pencil in the drawer. Are you guys talking about this situation? I post "Book X" for sale. Someone posts the "I'll take it." Then another boardie PM's the "buyer" and says, "I'll sell you Book X for $5 less." If that is what we are talking about, that should be an instant bannable offense IMHO. Don't think they can be banned as we're supposed to police ourselves, but I think both PMer and the one who accepts the 2nd offer should both be outed and added to the list of shame.
