While not a comic, wanted to share the comic stand (made by Stand it Up Comics) and the progress I have made in getting it signed.

We love the spot too. Looks like the show will be in the same hall of the convention center again next year, so we will have the spot again.  We re-upped for next year.  This year was great. We were able to sell a ton of books and made some trades on bringing some new books in.  We bought some of the exclusives for the shop, and even got to eat at Portillo's in The Colony.  Overall a great weekend.  I just did the math on steps to miles, and I walked 21 miles this weekend.  My feet and legs are tired, but it was worth it with a great weekend.  

30,000 steps was my rough total over the weekend.  Half of that was Friday.  And my dogs were a barking something serious.

It was an absolutely amazing weekend though.  And I thoroughly enjoyed hanging with you, @mysterio and @ADAMANTIUM

Will see you next year, I am likely going to get VIP.

They are con specific (and were given out ant the CGC University) and you have to go to the Sig Series side.  They require a social media post to get one, then just come back each day to get another.  They have I think about 6-7 different ones including a 9.9 and 10. If you pull a 9.9 or 10 you get added to some other con specific giveaway.

Pretty sure they lasted less than 3-4 mins.  But I got one, so now I got the auto to go with the photo-op.  Glad I checked the facespace earlier.

My understanding is that Hayden will have a separate space than on the floor for his autos.  Not sure that is accurate or not, we shall see!

I came to post about this very subject.  I will absolutely miss our random talks about the Mad Titan.  He was one of the great ones being such a kind and generous man.

He will be missed!

Been awhile and Alan has been killing it with covers.  He is currently the main cover artist for DC vs Vampire: All out War (1-6)

Traded doubles: Batman Adventures #12 cgc 7.0 under copy, my other of this issue is a 9.0, and a New mutants #98 cgc 9.0, which is the highest I owned of that book ; although my other of #98 is a signature series 8.0.

And the 3rd book I added to this trade is and cgc 8.0 Malibu Sun #13

For this priced at $1,100. I don't have GPA so did the best I could.

You know my opinion already but here goes!

I am not sure 9.2 is quite at the $1100 price point, with that you gave up doubles of books.  In the end you are not out $1100, that is just what the shop was asking for and you are happy with owning the #1.

Your happiness is the main goal here.  Which you have maintained.

Never let anyone take away your enjoyment.

So the 7 packs are 2 "random" 3 packs from leftover stock and another book in the middle.  They did this with previous 3 packs maybe a year or so ago (maybe longer?).

Doubt there is any super great pulls from them, I will however grab at least 1 if I see them myself.  As that image was yoinked from FB.
