Baring another board shut down () I am firing up the next batch of Buzzy Collection books today, will continue the thread into next week as well. Collection history- a local collector combined his childhood collection with issues that he filled in over the years, mostly he not particularly concerned with grade as long as he could read them. The bulk of the collection is 1940s-1960s with a few long boxes of Bronze/Copper/Modern. The original owner childhood books tend to be the better grade 60s books(Aquaman, Atom, Green Lantern, Justice League of America, etc), primary focus was DC though there were very few Marvel books from the SA/BA. I'm calling this the "Buzzy Collection" as that was his nickname. Now that I think about it, the kid did have quite a five o'clock shadow for an 11 year old.

I was doing a Carbonaro show in the mid-90s there, a kid walked up to the table and asked if I had any Power Pack comics(I didn't). About five minutes later another kid comes up and asks the same question, I'm wondering why all of a sudden it's being asked for. A few minutes later a kid comes up to the table and asks if I'm buying Power Pack comics, hands me a pile of ratty copies. I laugh, it's the same kid, he added a layer of clothing, hat & hoodie each time he came to the table. Pure genius. I wonder what ever became of him, he was a real go-getter.
