  1. No real flaws but there is a thumbprint on the back cover. Possible 9.0 maybe better?
  2. Get it Graded. That book is the hottest thing and will always be. Yours looks at worst a 7.0. Could easily be higher but I don’t know how the yellowing would affect it. Even a 3.0 of this book goes for crazy money.
  3. I will say 9.0 on the high side. Very nice copy. I’m jealous!
  4. Is there staining or just general tanning from age along the bottom edge of the back cover? If it just tanning from age, I think 6.5. If it’s a stain, would be lower.
  5. Not sure if the tape pull brings it down to 3.0 territory or lower or if it could be a VG candidate. Thoughts?
  6. I will second a 4.0 grade. At very worse, 3.5 but it presents well and the spine wear doesn’t look bad.
  7. Is that a bug chew? I’ve seen this before on books and thought it was a paper quality defect...
  8. I would say 1.8-2.0. Just such a large chunk gone but hey if it completes a collection it’s always worth it!!
  9. Water damage is always a personal deal breaker for me. Book without the water damage looks easily like it could be a higher Fine (6.0-7.0). I am not 100% what CGC would do, but I generally put books like this in the 3.5-4.0 range tops when the rest of the book is otherwise pretty solid looking.
  10. From my experience, today’s youth wants stuff from the 90s and 2000s if they are back issue hunting. And they only wanna pay a buck or so tops...which is all they should have to pay for majority of that stuff as it was printed in mass. problem where I am is that some shops charge $5-10 for random issues just because a movie came out and the character was in it. Sorry but this stuff should be for sale for under a couple bucks in order to keep kids buying. I don’t think many kids are collecting silver and Bronze Age. Mind you I am 29 and when I was 15-16, that was my go to and still is to this day. I worry though that if those issues become more and more expensive, todays generation will just buy tpbs for the back stories if they want them and keep up with stuff within 20 years or so from their birth.
  11. I am going to go with a 4.0 grade. The tear at bottom and crease are large. Also hard to tell if the brown discolouration on back cover is a stain or not. I think 3.5 would be absolute lowest it should grade and 4.5 probably the highest.
  12. Long time collector, first time poster and first time considered sending some stuff in to grade. Here are some pics of my Marvel Preview 7. Bought off the rack, put in a bag and then acquired by me just a few weeks ago.
  13. I know I am new here but I think definitely a 4.0-4.5. The spine ticks and split and tanning amount takes it down below a 5.0 for me personally. Awesome book though! Golden Age horror is on fire right now.
