  1. Kudos to Sid for another superb transaction with me on the boards!!
  2. That is an incredible 8.0! I can't really see anything holding it down to that grade?? In any event, it's a beautiful copy and I love that it doesn't have that all too common white miswrap along the spine.
  3. Kudos to Pirate for a quick payment and great transaction!
  4. Kudos to Sid for a super quick payment and flawless transaction!! Hope you enjoy the books!
  5. A couple of long overdue Kudos for: Greggy...for a lot of 64 incredible DC horror books! Spot on grading (his 7.5s = ebay seller's 9.0s). I can't say enough good things here! My only regret is that I didn't buy more. Thanks again Greg! Arex Crooke...for a sweet Detective Comics #434. Spot on grading and a super nice book! Thanks again for a quick and easy transaction! BassGMan...for a great eBay transaction on a couple of HOM books. Spot on grading and threw in free shipping! Thanks again for a super transaction! Thanks again guys! John
  6. Kudos for Greggy for a super fast shipment of a big ol box of DCs!!
  7. If the demand is what you say it would be, then collectors wouldn't be getting them all that cheap would they? I mean, the buyers set the prices here and can dictate how high an auction or price reaches. If they are falling all over each other to grab these, then how do you think they can go so cheap? I would disagree with your statement that the "vast majority of collectors don't consider pressing restoration". I'm not sure where you came up with that assumption.
  8. It looks like a regular Common Snapping Turtle. I've owned severel over the years and they are one of the hardiest turtle species I know of. Great pets actually...just not for kids as they can take a finger off. You have to check your state laws though as I think they are illegal to own in some places.
  9. Just got these from hex098 on the registry. He gave a fellow collector a great price and shipped them bomb proof from Canada...great guy
  10. Ok, my first ever piece of OA arrived today. Although I'm midway through purchasing a cover, this is actually the first piece I've had in hand. Shogun Warriors #15 page 14 with pencils by Mike Vosburg and inked by Bruce Patterson.
  11. Kudos to Rocketeer for a super transaction on the CGC 9.8 Black Panther #11
  12. Kudos to Bronzebruce13 for the What If #2, #3 and the AF #1! Thanks for the free Spidey Book too! John
  13. Wow those look awesome thanks again Shin. Those certificates look sharp enough to be collectibles themselves.
  14. Yup. Ya, and it's also got some stupid name written on the first page.
  15. Hate to be the party pooper again, but ol Sabretooth is only a 4 out of 7 on the marvel universe strength scale. So in other words...pretty weak compared to a lot of others. UMMM NO. Last I checked Sabretooth beat the [embarrassing lack of self control] out of Wolverine on several different occasions. This is the thread for whose the STRONGEST in the Marvel Universe. There is another thread for fighting ability. But since you brought it up...Wolverine is also just a 4 out of 7 on the strength scale. However Wovlie is one of only two to peak out at 7 on fighting ability whereas Sabretooth only ranks a 5. Sorry my vote would go to Wolverine there.
  16. One book don't make the man. Spider-Man is also a rather weak 4 out of 7 on the marvel universe strength scale.

  18. I'll preface this by letting you all know this isn't my book, but I love this cover and caption. who's the strongest again?
