  1. This is being sold as a lot with a lot price for all books. Most of these books just don't come up for sale very often thanks to the limited print runs. CGC runs even less so, and 9.8's hardly at all. You can check ebay/my comic shop etc and only a couple are listed anywhere. So putting together a 9.8 run would be extremely difficult. Lot Price = $1700 $1530obo NOW ONLY $1390 Here is what is for sale: Note #8 is missing. 2. First selling thread of 2017 I have most of the DC New 52 Action series including variants, prints etc. I also have a good run of the Superman series. The thread will start off with Action #1-15 CGC 9.8 all limited variants. I will mention that I do have a raw run of Action 200 up (almost complete) and Superman 80 up (almost complete). Please PM if you would like details. RULES Please say "I'll take it" or post . I accept PM's but the above rules first. No probies or HOS. I accept paypal and e-transfers. Other methods please contact first. Local pick-up with cash is possible of course too (Toronto area). If you need time payments that is fine but you must be pre-approved by me first, PM for more details. Returns: Please PM me first to discuss details if a problem arises. If there is a need you will have to return in same condition as it was sent and must get back to me within 30 days for full purchase price (shipping not included). No returns on CGC items I welcome you having large piles. As some others will attest, they kept adding to their pile with me for months. You will just need to make a payment on it occassionally. I do not automatically invoice, PM me when you want to close out your pile. SHIPPING Shipping is extra for everything unless specified otherwise in that post. I will ship anywhere in the world, I've shipped to places like Australia, Hawaii, Singapore, Argentina, Germany etc. I will ship any method you choose as well. Be advised if you go with a non-tracking option or don't get insurance it is your responsibility. I have no problem sending books with tracking and insurance if you want to pay the extra but you must tell me. I do live in Canada about 2 hours from the USA border. So first, shipping to Canada doesn't cost too much and it is also pretty cheap for a few books to the USA as well. I can ship to the US anytime from Canada as long as it's 5 books or less using regular mail from Canada in a cardboard mailing envelope (PM for exact price). For those getting lots of books and wanting cheap US shipping rates I now make use of a cross-border service. I bring my packages to this service whom takes the books across the border for me and mails them from the USA. Shipping rates are the same you would pay as if you bought in the USA for up to about 40 books. After that I'd have to quote. My feedback is in my signature line. I've been selling on ebay since 2002 with 100% feedback and on here for 11 years also. If you have any questions about anything (need more scans, ship quote, etc) please PM them to me.
  3. I've been selling comics for 25 years and find that more people collect both publishers (although not in equal quantity) as do one or the other. I'm sure they would rather go to one sales thread to look for silver than two. Certainly when they have come to me at a show with their want list, it is not broken down by publisher, it is alphabetical. Also, when I put up a sales thread on here and am going through my boxes (which are alphabetical) I don't want to have to flip back and forth between 2 sales threads, along with having to pay attention to which pictures are going to which thread. I'm already doing that for the G/S/B thread and the modern. I have close to 100K comics and it's a big production already to put up a sales thread as it is, nevermind trying to re-sort as I go. Trying to split again means I might have to put up 6 different sales threads in G/S/B, modern and misc. No thanks.
  4. Wow this is different. I hope they bring back the registered date and either display it with the posts or instead of it.
  5. Well yes we need them too, but we already know we can't afford them. We do have Bat 1, Supes 1, Cap 1, AA 16, GL 1, WW 1, etc etc. so the rest isn't that much of a stretch.
  6. Need any parts for the following: •All-American Comics #1 •All-American Comics #19 •Archie Comics #1 •Exciting Comics #9 •Flash Comics #1 (GA) •Green Giant Comics #1 •Marvel Comics #1 •Marvel Mystery Comics #9 •Master Comics #1 •More Fun Comics #52 •More Fun Comics #73 •National Comics # 1 •Pep Comics #22 - •Phantom Lady #17 •Reform School Girl #1 •Shock Illustrated #3 •Sun Fun Komiks #1 •USA Comics #1 Please let me know what you have, thanks.
  7. I received 3 great books from Alex. Everything went super smooth, we met up to exchange funds/comics and what a great guy! Hope to do business with again. Thanks.
  8. I bought some SSOC mags off him and everything went perfectly. Kindly helping me in some other matters as well. Thanks so much
  9. Greg's a great buyer. Picks up new stuff every couple weeks and stops by to pick-up. Thanks a bunch
  10. If this is that guy with two accounts, it looks like he asked for his money back from paypal from someone else too. Just the refund don't send the book.
  11. I guess I'm trying to gauge opinion. Do you think I could have done more? I think I reminded and asked enough times. How many times do you remind a person? How long do you wait? A lot of stuff was bought via PM and I didn't claim in the thread, the seller was to take down items as he did when his stuff sold normally. It wasn't supposed to be general knowledge that you could buy books for other than ask.
  12. I run piles for my buyers over a year sometimes, check my feedback. If things go up, well then they do. I sold a Dr Strange #1 to a nice boardie in the UK in vf shape for $30 a long time ago. I still have it in front of me, just about to ship out now. Same book probably go for $60 right now. I would never think of "losing it". Right now as we speak I have piles for 7 people that range anywhere from 1 week to a year. But all their books are pulled and in their pile! Regardless of personal thoughts on length of time of a pile both parties agreed to wait until a short box was full. Also I'm sure I'm not the only person this seller keeps piles for either. And this is skirting the issue, I'm more upset over the avoidance here. I should also mention the seller has posted numerous times since the PM's and even started a couple new sales threads.
  13. Hey everyone. I really try to stay clear of the fun and excitement of the PL and discussion that ensue but... What are your thoughts... This has been over a long period of time. I bought a lot of books off an established boardie starting Nov 14th 2012. Some of the books I bought at their advertised prices right in thread with sign and some of the books that went unsold I bought at an agreed upon price through PM. This seller had many books being put up over a long length of time so I asked if I could start a large pile. Seller Agreed. All books bought were specifically listed in the PM chain so there was no confusion. Dec 11th 2012. seller stated they would like me to pay for what was there and then I could start another pile. Dec 11th 2012, I paid that same day. I asked if we could wait until a short box was full before sending to take advantage of combined shipping. Dec 12 2012 Seller Agreed. July 10th 2013 seller asked to finish this up and sent total. July 11th 2013 I asked if I could add a few more comics. July 12th 2013 Seller sent amended total. July 12th 2013 I paid Short box over-full so time to pay and send. July 15th 2013 Seller states that could not find 6 books including Str Tales 180 which had gotten hot since the time I bought for only a couple dollars. They refunded and said will ship shortly. July 27th I asked seller if they would be posting more soon. July 27th Seller replied soon and that they haven't sent box yet, they also mentioned they couldn't fit everything so were holding back some books for the next box. July 27th I said that's fine August 20th 2013 I asked if seller could let me know which books they held back as there were 22 books I didn't get after deducting the 6 that were not found. August 20th 2013. I went through sellers thread and found that they had been reposting some books that I had already bought, and in for one book they had 2 copies of it had been posted 3 times (same pic), charged 3 times and I did receive 2 copies but not the third and I missed that one in counting missing books, so was 23 total books missing. August 26th 2013 seller replied saying not a big deal, probably was posting things twice. END OF PM CHAIN August 6th 2013 a new PM chain was started by seller with my new buys from thread to keep things easy. Over the next 7 months more books were added and included in PM's. 3 March 2014 asked if I was close to a short box yet and said they could fill it with books from their VCC booth. No reply 28 Jun 2014 (almost 4 months later) I PM'd again asking if I was at a short box and I also added some more books. No reply 28 Sep 2014 ( 3 months later) I PM'd "Should I keep adding or am I add a short box and we should close" No reply 16 Nov 2014 - I PM'd again "Ok well, let's close then please. We can't forget the other books I paid for which didn't fit in the last box I had shipped and this missing ones also. Let me know how much shipping will be please. That was last PM. The above PM chain shows seller is still active in discussion and has not deleted and seller had read all PM's 19 Nov 2014 - I started a new PM to seller hoping this would prompt a response "Ok well, let's close then please. We can't forget the other books I paid for which didn't fit in the last box I had shipped and this missing ones also. Let me know how much shipping will be please." 19 Nov 2014 seller replied "I have to go through everything, will get to you shortly." 23 Nov 2014 I PM'd - "Were you getting my other PM's or should I copy and paste from that last chain?" 23 Nov 2014 seller said "Copy and paste but I probably won't be able to get through them until after the holiday. 24 Nov 2014 I PM'd listing all the comics I bought. 24 Nov 2014 I PM'd again listing all the comics that were missing from the first order. no reply 19 Jan 2015 I PM'd "Just wondering how this is going? I see a (here I listed a specific comic) in your latest posts along with a few others that I took that may have been reposted. Did you have additional copies? no reply 25 Jan 2015 I PM'd "I would like this closed out please." Now 2 months later still no reply. All PM's have been read, seller has not deleted themselves from chain.
  14. Bought a dozen books worth quite a bit of money. Paid right away, always PM'd back quickly and was nice to talk to Great guy, hope to do business with again.
  15. Chad has just finished his 2nd large pile with me. Both times was a full comic box. Always friendly and nice to talk to. Thanks again Chad, come back to my sales threads again soon
  16. If you have a business account capable of taking credit cards you always get charged a fee when taking payments for PURCHASES even if the payment comes from a balance. Also, the sender will have to pay a fee when paying personal to that account if they live outside the seller's country.
  17. Bought quite a few comics over a long period of time. Kept in contact and paid right away. Great buyer Thanks for your purchases
  18. Sslim66 was in the probie news a few months ago -http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8068268 Thanks for that update, I didn't see it get resolved. Hopefully someone will have an email for these guys too.
  19. Does anyone have the contact info for: sslim66 Thecactusish John2814 Numerous PM's over the last 3 weeks have not been read so hoping for an email. Thanks
  20. I'm not against them... But not possible when you have thousands of books for sale at one time. And a complicating factor of a 3 year old interrupting you every few minutes
  21. What Robert and said.. And To be honest I avoid the threads that list all their books for sale then post all of the pics in the next post. Then you have to scroll up and down to see what the price is for each. As a buyer its annoying. Same with trying to load a post which has 50 comics and their pictures in one post. Have you tried doing that on your phone or a slow computer? My experience on here also is that buyers like 1 or 2 book per post format. Heck, the one post format would sure be easier, I probably would have been done my sales thread months ago . But most of us try to do what buyers like, based on feedback we receive. I remember when I first started selling and I posted enormous pictures on here thinking that`s what people wanted. But people said it was taking too long to download so I changed to what they wanted.
