  1. I love the Frazetta covers on Famous Funnies. Does anyone know of a pedigree collection that has these books in high grade with nice page quality? I have seen a Cosmic Aeroplane copy of one of these books, but nothing else. Ken Definitely one of the best Frazetta covers. The original to that exists somewhere. I remember it being on Heritage or Sotheby's a few years back--75k+
  2. I don't care for the colors on that book. Get rid of it. Ken
  3. All of these nice Superman related covers are starting to get to me. Beautiful books that I am having a hard time not adding to my ever growing want list. Ken
  4. This came in yesterday. The dust shadow is not nearly as bad as it looks in the scan. Ken
  5. I always love the New Years themed covers. Not comic book related, but Leyendecker did a lot of fantastic covers for the Saturday Evening Post in the 1930's and 40's with New Years themes. Ken
  6. No pedigree on this book. Just a nice copy with off-white to white pages and nice gloss. Ken
  7. No, CGC will not slab this book because of an overhang on the back cover. I don't get any of the books for my collection slabbed anyway so it doesn't matter to me. The book grades out at about VF+ with white pages. Ken
  8. Although I'm not really a big Police Comics fan, I always thought this cover was cool. Mile High's make any book look good though. Ken
  9. Great cover with an unusual horror type of feel to it. Here is another book with the richest colors you can imagine. Ken
  10. Thanks. This is one of my favorite greytones. Any cover with a rocketship, the Earth and a Moon-beast has to be good. Ken
  11. They don't get much better than this. I spent years looking for a high grade copy of this book. Anyone have a nice Tales of the Unexpected 15 to post? Ken
  12. Adam, Sorry, I didn't get the joke. I thought maybe you owned the White Mountain copy and perhaps Marnin was mistaken since I also bought some Bethlehem books from him. Ken
  13. Now that's Gil Kane! What a beauty! But then if it's the copy I expect it is, that would be no surprise. White Mountan copy. Ken Nope. Try again. Beautiful Adam, I purchased the book from Marnin Rosenberg and he recently confirmed that the book is the White Mountain copy. What makes you say no? Ken
  14. Now that's Gil Kane! What a beauty! But then if it's the copy I expect it is, that would be no surprise. White Mountan copy. Ken
  15. Strange Adventures has a few really nice greytone covers. The car on this cover adds to the nostalgic 1950's feeling this cover invokes. Ken
  16. Mine too. Its the only issue I own of this title. Ken
  17. Great Lips..........on her too. Here's a cover that I love the colors on. Ken
  18. Adam, Thanks for posting. What a beautiful copy. Is that copy a pedigree? It looks really fresh and the colors are vivid. Ken
  19. Getting closer! Not close enough! I love that book too though. Ken
  20. I'm sure everyone knows how tough this book is in high grade. This is the Oakland copy which has just the most minimal wear with excellent color and page quality. I was thrilled to get it from a fellow board member a few years ago. Ken
  21. Steve, Sounds like a killer collection, no pun intended. Ken
  22. Adam, That is an amazing run of later issue Planet Comics you have! Will you post a large scan of #71? It is one of my favorite Planet covers. Ken
